So i had just got the new samples and i was really really excited didn’t have any plates or wheels to put them on though but i do have connections i’ve been in this skate game for a long time and i’ve made some friends yeah i’m sure you guys have been really busy
That’s good though nah uh sugar’s been around for a long time i mean for as long as i can remember since i was a kid starting to skate so i hit them up they make some of the best plates and wheels that are out there
And i told them yo you know i’m starting my own brand um that’s like cool yo that’s really dope you know anything that we can do to help out i said well actually um these are like top of the line these are like the best place that you can get so
Shout out to them shout out to sugar oh perfect perfect they sent me some uh plates and wheels and it looked just so sick so so thick i actually posted a picture on my on my instagram and people were going crazy they’re like yo when can we get these when can we buy
These i was like whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa i will take your money just wait let me develop these boots i still got to develop them just i still got a lot of work to do um but it was just really dope to see the response and you know got me thinking because
Originally i had planned on doing like a it’s like a limited release you know small run something that i can you know obtain but after just seeing the response it got me thinking like yo maybe i might want to do a kickstarter basically with the kickstarter is the
Customer will prepay for the product and get like a a nice discount and for whatever reason if it doesn’t work out you know if you don’t hit your goal then the customer gets their money back so it’s kind of like a win-win for the customer
But um yeah i’m not sure yet i’m not sure exactly what i want to do but that is definitely an option you know it’s just seeing the hype around this this skate for sure so we’ll see as you know i have ripped my first sample so i really had to test out these
New boots i had to make sure that they were the real deal the purpose for today’s session is to try to rip my boots either rip them you know scuff them up and really see what they’re made of see what they can handle so that i can communicate that back to
The factory and then they can make the adjustments as you can see the uh the ground that i’m skating on is very rough so that’s kind of what i want um i just want to see what they can what they can take so yeah hopefully i rip them or
Hopefully i don’t rip them so we’ll see i was very impressed very impressed um there’s still some small little details and stuff that that i want to work on i communicated that with the factory but overall i was really happy with how how the how these second samples responded so
You know i’m really hoping that these third ones these third samples are it i can i cannot wait i’m i’m working on some some new colorways right now with the factory and i’m just i’m just so excited and i cannot wait to present them to you when they’re ready
