Have like the music bump in and you know you’re out there just like cruising around doing your dance moves it’s a lot of fun it’s a lot of fun for all ages we have from little toddlers up to 70 year olds you know they’re they’re still out there roller skating skating
Is a pandemic friendly activity as skating is primarily done outside but skaters in fairfield do not have a lot of skating location options the closest skating rink is about an hour away both owners want to change that it’s great for your mental health for your physical health there’s so many benefits you know
Individually and also just as a community to having that kind of space we just need more things for kids to do we need more things for adults to do we need more things for families to do i can’t really think of another thing that a whole family could go and do together
In town especially indoors that you could do in the winter time they are hoping to raise 35 000 if possible more they are currently looking at two different locations so we’re hoping to raise funds in order to put a down payment on that space and then make some improvements to the space
As well so we would have if we were able to get that space we would have a rink and then also a space for an arcade you know seating dining a place to have birthday parties social gatherings and outdoor events yeah the shop owners hope to have a skating rink open by
