Yeah have you ever roller skated before it is so much fun but first I have someone really important and special to introduce you to it’s Mika and she is my best friend Hey Mika do you want to know what we’re gonna do today yeah check it out roll away Tricky you have to have really good balance yeah you do I bet you are gonna do really good you’re gonna do really good all right let’s go come on Wow look at this place Nico yeah it is whoa and look at the carpet it’s so colorful yeah I love all of these colors it’s so fun yeah because whoa check it out the roller rink yeah it’s really really big and look at the floor it has colors on it too yeah oh
And look at that ball up there a disco ball what’s the floor made out of Mika the roller rink floors are made out of wood and they’re really smooth yeah kind of like ice rinks that’s nice whoa do you know the difference between ice skates and roller skates ice skate has a blade Blade yeah you’re right Mika hey should we go get on our roller skates yes yeah Whoa look at all these skates oh there’s so many hello hey who are you I’m Pedro I’m Nika and I’m blippi nice to meet you nice to meet you what are you up to I’m disinfecting these skates whoa disinfecting who can I see yes you can
Whoa check it out disinfect it whoa that way it can get all of the germs out of the skate and keep them nice and clean yeah so then they’re not really What’s the first thing we should do we first need to figure out what size skate you wear oh do you know your shoe size oh your shoe size that’s right surprise yeah hey do you have big sizes and small sizes or what size do you have we have from toddler sizes
So small yeah and this one’s really big wow so cool what’s the largest size you have Pedro this is the largest one at a 16. Up to 16. that’s a lot of sizes yeah well you count to 16 with us yeah one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen yeah whoa I got these for you Mika thank you and these are for euclids thank you so much
Pedro wow shall we go put on our roller skates yes Yes so much fun because you’re so excited yeah wow and there’s so many parts on this skate yeah oh look for real oh let’s count them together okay one two three four wow so cool what’s this up front oh this is the toe stop it
Helps you break so you can stop wow cool oh and check this out yeah it looks like we have some brown shoelaces so then you can tighten it up around your foot so your foot doesn’t fall out whoa and look it kind of looks like a shoe but it’s not called the shoe
Yeah before we go out and stick it on our safety gear thank you oh let’s see we have oh you do yep yeah Birds yeah you put them on your wrist so then it keeps your hands nice and safe yeah oh what do you have I also have
Some elbow pads wow yep they go right here on your elbow all of these things will protect you in case you fall down yeah and these kind of look like elbow pads but they’re bigger yeah these are actually for your knees so then your knees are nice and protected
Last but not least hey Mickey yeah why is the color blue that’s one of my two favorite colors have all sorts of colors on here blue pink and orange favorite color oh my God you’re so silly well shall we gear up so then we can roller skate Escape [Applause]
Oh now we have our skates and helmets on we should probably put on our knee pads Foreign All right now that we have our safety gear on let’s go ride whoa [Applause] Whoa this is tricky oh I almost fell it’s so slippery yeah it is we need to work on our balance oh no I can’t stop are you okay yeah I’m okay whoa I’m glad you’re wearing a helmet yeah I know whoa all this safety gear really helps us

Both in the T position so you’re going to roll your skate behind put it in a t and look you can stand up nice and tall and hold your balance so yeah see yeah and I noticed that you were just bald and so let’s see if we can go over that
Let’s go over and practice falling and getting back up wait we’re gonna practice falling yes okay awesome so let’s all sit down okay we’re gonna get down just like this okay and the first thing you always want to do when you’re on the ground is get your hands off the
Floor so that no one can roll over them so hands in the lab and then we’re gonna roll over on two knees so we’re gonna go two knees down and then we’re gonna go one knee up we’re going to take both hands put it on that knee and we’re gonna look up because
We’re going up we’re gonna push straight up and look we’re gonna go right back into that t we just practiced one get up on your upfall again no problem that’s great so now can you guys both say one two three roll yeah awesome damn means you can skate okay so
We’re gonna put action to all those words you just said so we’re gonna now take our tea and move it into a letter V and by putting a letter V with your skate see how we can touch the back wheels yeah we’re gonna put our hands in
Front we’re gonna keep our knees bent and we’re going to keep our hands nice and straight and our heads up and we’re gonna go one two three roll okay let’s do that together all right ready yep one two three roll and if you lose control what’s the

Looks like you have a flat tire yeah I was just telling our friends that I have a flat tire and now I can’t ride anymore well good thing we are at spoke Bicycle Cafe in Los Angeles California it’s a cafe and a bike shop I’m someone inside could help you oh really yeah
Let’s go yeah let’s try it out come on foreign so you said this place has snacks and bikes yeah it’s a cafe and a bike shop whoa hey who are you well hi there my name is Dane oh hey I’m Mika yeah and I’m blippi nice to meet you oh what do
You do here I’m the head bicycle mechanic so you fix bikes I do you’re the person we need blippi has a flat tire I don’t know well if you follow me we’ll get you ready to roll really fix it I can all right let’s go come on whoa this is gonna be great
Oh cool all right I know I have everything we will need to fix your flat tire yay I’m so excited oh so the first thing we will do is put your bike into the bike stand wow and let’s make it much easier when the bike is up high like that much much easier
Smart can I put the helmet right here you certainly can so the first thing we’re going to do is remove your front wheel oh so you’re gonna remove the front wheel and tire D correct so we will take this 15 millimeter box wrench and loosen the axle nuts on the wheel
Wow you know a lot about bikes Ride a bike like that I know now it’s a unicycle next we’re going to take a tire lever to remove the tire from the wheel so you’re removing the tire from the wheel right now you got it and just like that this is so cool can I see the wheel
Whoa check it out Mika wow bike wheel with no tire yeah look a big circle cool and it’s actually kind of light yeah Okay and the next thing we’re gonna do is remove that tube which is what created the flat tire whoa so there’s a tube inside the tire oh can I check it out whoa so this has a hole in it and this is what was inside the tire that makes sense whoa oh it’s
Squishy yeah it is it’s like a balloon yeah cool here you go oh so as we’re now done inspecting the tire to see if there’s anything stuck inside of this that created the flat we’re now safe to put a new tube back inside that’s okay so it’s just the
Tube that had the hole Yeah and new too yay whoa that looks flat yeah so that is this but brand new exactly so what we’re gonna do is fill it up with a little bit of air to make it easier to install whoa whoa cool [Applause] Next we will need that their wheel back here you go one wheel one wheel thank you and so we’re gonna set just one side of this wheel inside of the rim itself okay and this is where I like to create a dinner plate dinner plate so what are you doing now I’m gonna
Insert and reinstall a new inner tube to replace the compromised one and you can see once you have it set up like a dinner plate it’s easy enough to just add it back inside of the the tire yeah I’m gonna reseat the other side just like that and now we have a fully
Re-uh installed Tire yeah the last but not least we’re gonna put air pressure back into the tire this specific tire goes up to 40. PSI or pounds per square inch can I hold the tire and wheel certainly no Mika okay see if we can feel the air being pumped
In there yeah oh yeah yeah whoa it is feeling like a normal bike tire now oh it’s really filling up yeah yeah oh so when doing this you always want to read the side of your tire first before you start to apply air pressure okay and
That way you won’t over inflate the tire oh so it doesn’t explode wow now this feels like a bike meal that you could ride on yeah yeah and now it is so last but not least we are going to reinstall this back onto the bicycle so that you may continue your ride yeah
Oh there it goes whoa yay whoa you are such a good mechanic Dane you did that so fast whoa and voila whoa thank you so much wow now I can ride my bike again let me can I ride bikes with you oh that’s a great idea but I don’t have a helmet or
A bike I don’t have anything all the good news here at spoke bicycle cafes we both rent bicycles and helmets because I didn’t even use that helmet right there indeed you can oh all right wow here you go Mika thank you we just pick out a bike out there indeed all

Mika look way over here come on you see what it is Goodness oh really cute sea otters wow see otters are so cool whoa they’re in the water hey they can swim in the water and be on land yeah and their fur is really really dense yeah oh look you’re snuggling oh they’re so cute I wonder if they’re best friends like us
Yeah their hair is so dense actually it’s fur yeah there’s about a million pieces of hair and about that big of size that’s super duper furry yeah that’s equal to about all the hair on an average sized dog wow that’s a lot of fur yeah
Oh they like to dive down and find their food things like shellfish crab clams sea urchins yep and we’ll bring it up out of the water the water to a rock and hang out and eat their food yum yum yum and did you see how their front hands kind of look like
Hands but they’re back feet yeah they’re actually kind of flippers yeah so then they swim with their back flipper feet it’s like flippers in the back and pause in the front yeah check them out there it goes wow check it out so tiny yeah teeny tiny jellyfish
Wow look at him go they’re just swimming like this I’ve never seen them this small before I know they’re so small oh and look over here Mika Whoa these are a little bit bigger yeah we can call these medium-sized jellyfish that’s right wow look at their long tentacles oh hello how’s your day going oh Mika look Look big jellyfish wow look at that yeah jellyfish are so cool they don’t have hearts they don’t have brains I need to eat food to survive yeah they’re living creatures that’s right wow that is so cool and if you ever see a jellyfish you want to make sure not to

For them to catch in one day yeah and do you see those walks up there that’s where they live yep yep see all the way up top we’re just hanging out together yeah if there’s a cliff next to water you might find some puffins hey Puffin hey their beaks look so cool Whoa check it out so colorful in there yeah it’s a coral reef yeah these see all those fish they’re so colorful yeah there’s a lot in there yeah look at that one right there it’s just yellow so yellow it looks like the sun right I bet you’d like that one over there
Because it’s orange one of your favorite colors oh yeah you’re right and there’s white stripes on it and black that one looks really cool yeah that one right there yeah it has a blue body and a Yellow Tail oh you see any other colorful ones Mika
Oh I see a black and white one coming this way oh yeah black and white stripes sounds like a zebra yeah that is so cool look at that one right there oh yeah a blue body with some black the Yellow Tail wow there’s so many colors in here yeah so colorful foreign Frogs I have ever seen these are poisonous dart frogs and can typically be found in the rainforest do you know what color that is like a red orange poisonous dart frogs come in so many different sorts of colors and they’re bright colors tell animals and people to stay away because they’re really
Poisonous but then is so cute oh I think there’s some more over here come on wow these have white stripes down their back they look so cool they’re poisonous because of the poison and the food that they eat you have to stay away but wow they’re just really adorable and Fabulous
Check it out more frogs oh these are magnificent tree frogs whoa It’s the color green yeah that’s called camouflage it Blends in with its environment yeah do you know what is green in here yeah yeah leaves whoa so then other animals can’t see the straw so come on look down here
These are Mexican salamanders yeah also known as axolotls what a silly name whoa hello yeah they’re typically darkish greenish brownish in the nature yeah so then they blend in to their environment just like those frogs Yeah see you later oh check it out yeah it’s an octopus can you see it yeah whoa
Octopuses have eight arms we together have four one two three four four times that by two and then you have eight yeah can you imagine having eight arms well that’d be so cool yeah and octopuses have little suction cups on their arms so they where they go yeah and it sticks to
