There’s been tournaments that we’ve played in that us Jammers will rotate through an ice bath in the motel hotel just to try to negate some of the swelling and bruising and everything it’s very superficial and you shake it off to these ladies the hits are worth
It because it’s so much more than just a game to them each of these people out here are means so much to me we put our heart and soul into this league and I love skating with these people I feel like I found a family here The Treasure Valley roller derby family is a non-profit skaters pay membership dues monthly to fund their events it’s just one of the most valuable experiences I’ve had in my life and I really love this league if you’d like to support the derby team they’re always looking for donations new
