We’re about to run inside to meet Santa because it’s Haley’s first Christmas and we thought what better way to remember her first Christmas than to get a photo of Santa we are starting so many New Traditions this here and I don’t know how many of them will stick around but
It’s so sweet we want to do everything that we can this year and just like document it’s the first Christmas like that is such a big deal even just for memories like I’m probably going to frame this picture and keep it forever I have one of me going to meet Santa in
The mall when I was a kid so I think it’ll be good we were talking on the way here though because we were like I wonder how she’s going to react and Katie brought up that she reacted pretty well did really good at Disney she did
Good with poo bear and with Tiger but I don’t know she’s a little bit older now so I honestly don’t know if she’ll have like a little bit of a different reaction she just woke up from a nap and just had a bottle so she’s in a good
Mood but you never know with baby We are in line for our photos they have a little cool little setup here with like some reindeer it’s a workshop it’s oh it’s a workshop I’m so sorry uh we are second in line to meet Santa and then we’re going to go for that picture
But little pretty cool spot the mall did pretty Good where’s Katie’s name where’s Katie’s name it says James I already she looked already she said there’s a James oh yeah it’s right here Haley and I are middle names not Haley not haly oh not Haley just Me Haley was a little bit over overwhelmed she kept it together for about 30 seconds maybe and then she started to lose it if mom wouldn’t have been there it would have been game over but I think she did good though we got a cute photo to save and I think it’s just
Harder for her just cuz it’s like a person she’s a little bit older and know she was like I don’t really know what to do here but Santa Santa kept telling her to look at the camera it was it was quite hilarious what was going on in
There but uh it was fun next stop is Philadelphia and you may wonder why Philadelphia when it’s pitch black well number one it gets dark at like 4:30 5:00 here so it’s really not that late and because this is where we have our longest standing tradition literally the
Longest standing my very first trip here Trav and his parents took me to Philly we did an ice skating ring and then we walked around a little like Christmas Village and then we went and got cheese steaks and I was so nervous cuz I had like ice skated once in my life before
This and I was like I do not want to do this I would not be ice skating but I did it and then every year since me and Tra have come back and just like had a little date there and done everything that we done we go to the same cheese
Steak place the same ice skating ring the same Christmas Village it’s almost like sweet memories now but this is the first year that we have Haley last year I was very very pregnant and it was great but this year is going to be even better I think Haley is going to love it
Also it is going to be freezing so Mom picked up this snowsuit in one of the stores inside the mall so hopefully this helps hay stay warm when I say it’s cold always worried that she’s going to be cold and I know she’ll probably fine I
Get her like all bundled up but this is going to make me feel better cuz it’s literally a snowsuit covered in fur so I won’t have to worry about it I even have a little tobogan for her too from Gigi so she’s going to be very warm I think I
Might not have dressed warm enough but it’s going to be great it’s going to be a fun Time oh my goodness Haley you are so so warm now mommy’s keeping you warm so you’re not cold can I see your little snowsuit this is the first time she’s worn a hat like this as well so she was like what is going on she’s going to be
Glad when it’s chilly I just didn’t on her ears to get cold and everything I’m trying to take care of her she’s definitely going to be warming up but not us not Us we might as well walk and talk but this way babe Katie’s going the other way I was saying we might as well walk and talk and we have some bad news guys so Katie’s family always has a Christmas party normally like two weeks before Christmas uh depending on the year um
And this year we are not having it before Christmas we’re trying to do it in January but it just did not work out with everyone’s schedules people now are like in Florida there’s three families in Florida we’re in New Jersey people are pregnant people have anniversary so
For whatever reason it didn’t work out so no trips to Tennessee for Christmas kind of sad but we are going in January and it might be nice with it being a less busy time of year and we can make the trip a little bit longer and see
Everybody so I’m kind of sad but also excited cuz I know it’s probably going to work out better for us and Them yo what was that we’re going to stay here for a second drink some of this hot chocolate and then I’m going to run over to the ice skating rink um usually we all ice skate but this year obviously we can’t ice skate with Haley oh last year I didn’t ice skate either
Cuz I was pregnant and I was too scared I didn’t want to fall and something happened to the baby so it’s actually going to be my second year dishing out on the ice no I’m going to hold the baby and Katie’s going to ice skate no that’s
Good that’s a great IDE guys I’m not even going to lie I am not a good ice skater I like did the roller blading growing up but the ice skting is just it’s not for me I like it just cuz it’s like a Christmas thing but I am not
Going a lot of you guys are probably thinking we could just hold her in ice skate but I’m telling you I am not good at ice skate like you don’t probably want me to do that and I know my limitations so for everyone’s sake here especially Haley’s I’m not going to hold
Her an ice SK but maybe I’ll get some video of me out there what do they call those triple uh I don’t know triple twist um somebody help me in the comments no it’s like a specific name for triple axle triple axle coming right up All right guys we are actually home we decided to drive back after getting the cheese steak so we can eat it at home instead of in our car on the street so Haley just woke up she was dead asleep in our car seat Haley are you nice are
