Good morning guys and welcome back to the channel so the last time you saw us we were just heading back to the UK after our Amsterdam trip now I just want to give you a bit of an update what’s been going on since we’ve been Back as you can see with this unit it’s looking a little bit different than it has done so we have been working really really hard and for the first time ever I’ve managed to beat stew to work I don’t even know how that’s happened because he’s always here at like half 6
7:00 I normally take the children to school but I’ve still managed to beat him it’s quarter to 9 and he’s not here he’s nowhere to be seen so I’m GNA have him in a bit for skying so I’m going to get the cup cup of coffee on the go the
First job of the day is a bit of Painting so I bet I just clean this bit of floor in up I’ve made a bit of a mess down there St will start complaining about his floor stinking if I don’t get that wiped at ped off my floor but I just noticed something as well you’ve
Painted this one you’ve done a lovely job for a change for your painted yeah you didn’t need to paint it yeah it’s yeah it’s the outside no we go in the offish here there’s a wall here I thought we were going to see that wall
No we’re going to do it all the way to the end my be we can get I can’t believe it I literally have got the tiniest amount of paint left as well and I’ve got a paint the inside of the toilet yet that’s enough to be fair that roller I
Got made it much quicker didn’t it than that last one that last one you were there for ages to do one block would take you 10 minutes yeah to be fair that’s the problem with breeze blocks though isn’t it they do soak up all the paint well that’s it they’re fresh
Blocks so they just go well that’s that’s an hour of my life now I’ve just wasted I ain’t getting that bad good practice or trust me she needs it when it comes to pained right you can put the cattle on you can cheeky that is all the paint I’ve got left
I’ve still got all this to paint and it may look like a small room but as I said the breeze block soak in all the paint I’m geted genuinely get it mind you on the other toilet is Breeze block all the way around in the one next door I’ve
Just noticed this one’s the brick work so I could leave the brick work plane and just do the breeze blocks and the whites because we’re going for a bit of an industrial looking Year anyway basically just going to mirror next unit toilet area cuz I want the kind of same
Theme so I’m going to do like a his hers so in the workshop it’ll be for guys and then in the office area it’ll be for girls I thought that would be quite nice I got my trusty wipes I’m going to start cleaning this floor up and then I’m
Going to go and get myself a coffee I can’t believe I’ve just wasted all that time best part is Stu’s been in here two or three times already watching me paint this blinking wall and hasn’t said a word he literally waited till I finished to tell me that I can’t believe it here
He is look true to his word making the coffees nice one babe so after that Lush cup of coffee I’ve got to say it was Lush that little coffee machine we’ve got in there is absolutely Wicked only cost us about 30 quid it’s been brilliant I’m going to get on with this
Toilet and get this painted cuz it just looks so dark and dingy in there doesn’t it so after a day of just running around I’ve been to screw fix I’ve bought a new heater I’ve been to get some new keys cut for the unit and I’ve managed to
Paint the toilet I did run out of paint but I think it looks okay I’ve also been to the shops to get some bits for the bathroom I’m yet to put them up I was hoping to do them today but time just got got away with me to be honest with
You so yeah look at this taada yes it does does definitely need another coat that’s looking very soaked in I’ve decided to leave this wall plain for now because I just think it looks quite cool and I’ve been to get some bits as you can see some girly bits just to match up

Yeah all this area behind me here that’s all going to be an office and a kitchen area I’m really excited about that I’ve got some really good ideas for it but also it means that I can work I can come in I can set myself up every morning and
I can crack on cuz right now I’m being interrupted quite a bit because you know there’s other things that need to happen I’m having to knit Mac and for of the house so it can be a bit challenging another thing that’s going to happen this weekend which I’m really excited
About is I’ll turn you around this wall here we’re going to do a knock through this is how the unit currently looks as you can see it’s just a big open box with a toilet at the end of it I’ve put some insulation here because this section is effectively going to be where
We store our wood and all our preparation gear and then this section here will be where the walk walk through will be so I can go straight through to the workshop um and then this will be the kitchen this will be the office so yeah quite a nice amount of space we’ve
Still obviously got the roller shatter there so we can bring vans in when I’m not doing the office work and there’s a van here I’m able to get on with the preparation we were originally as you know having the first unit we were just going to have one van in there with a
Mezine floor put on the top for where the office would be unfortunately the prices were just coming in too high and it’s actually worked out more cost effective for us to take on another unit have the extra space and Bay so we can work on other Vans at the same time
Actually that brings me on to something else we got a new car but anyway long story short after 24 hours I’d only driven about 30 miles in it and the engine management light came on and I’ve spoken to the dealer about it and everything and they’re just not getting
Back to me it’s been a complete at nightmare week in terms of car I know there’s bigger problems in the world it’s only a car the last time an engine management light came on for me it blew up on the motorway so yeah makes me kind
Of nervous I’ll update you on that when I know more about it if you’ve had any nasty car experiences with dealers please do let me know in the comments it’d be interesting to hear about it and how you managed with it cuz right now I’m at a situation where I’m thinking of
Sending it back we’re also going to be packing this evening because this weekend we’re going away actually I would say this place that we’re going this weekend is arguably one of the best Christmas camping resorts in South Wales so here’s the van that Stu and I have been working on he’s done loads
It’s like all sway panels and stuff so as we’re on a bit of a standstill at the minute we decided we were going to do some work in the unit because we haven’t actually done any work here since we took the place on as you can imagine
When we’ve been having the van the focus has been just work on the Vans the unit needs to be set up in a way that you know tools are easy to access and equipment and stuff like that so we can literally grab it so this weekend we
Made a big effort to come down we work Saturday we work Sunday Sunday the children came down they gave us a hand as well but I’ve got to say this place is looking much much tidier than it has done since we’ve had it Stew’s happy so
That’s the main thing so this is the wall that we put in um basically just covers all of the unsightly scaffold in stuff but it does does have a dual purpose excuse the box is in the way at the moment um the plan is we’re going to
Use these back Walls by here to hang up some tools this is going to be an electrical workstation at the minute is kind of like a kitchen C merch come stashing cam office area which it won’t stay like that forever I promise you it will be tidied up as soon as my unit
Sorted and I even got myself a little office plant that was an absolute bargain that was six quid from Sainsbury’s so I grabbed that when I went up there the other day and then we got these stools which I thought were really really cool so Wu eventually is
Doing his electric stuff here he can sit down he’s not always standing up you know and obviously when we take on more people or people come to visit there’s more chairs there and we’ve decided to keep these chairs that we’ve taken out of one of the Vans because I just
Thought what a cool feature so we’re going to get them drilled into the floor we’re not sure yet whether to put them like keep them here or whether to pop them next door kitchen’s so small we can make it look like an interior of a camper van and put them in and then
Obiously when you’re having your lunch your pot noodle whatever you can sit down and have your dinner so I think that’s a no-brainer to be honest but still trying to convince you on that one Stew’s workbench station this is all getting sorted out as well he’s got a
New work workstation on order basically where all this wood is being stored right now is where we’re going to do a knock through into the unit next door so yeah what do you think guys I mean I think it’s coming on massively students able to come in and do work on the van
So that’s basically what it’s for it’s all undercover got all the stuff that he needs for this van just stack up there whatever so that’s cool I think it’s this place is wicked and you know obviously when we get to a stage where we can have more vans in as well I just
Think that’s going to be awesome over here you’re supposed to be working right I am working like I just made his van into black pool I mean if you just put all those lights in yeah he said he wanted some lights you had a tiny little lamp down
Here look at a smile on his a look at him nothing like helping the neighbors out love pick my ride keep your heart on it looks Wicked maybe we’ll see if we can install him a little camper window in the side that’s what I did have awesome that was it like difference yeah
That’s looking amazing so you can see where all your tools are now you’ve been complaining all morning that you’re freezing cold and yet you’re out here working yeah but when you’re working you’re busy and you warm naturally you warm up but I haven’t got much to do so
I’ve been doing a lot of setting around which is unusual for me but yeah I’ve been freezing so I’ve managed to claw in back in and do some work now so as we mentioned we’ve got this out happening on the weekend so obviously we need to
Make all this area nice and clear so that Simon can come in and do the knockout for us after a busy night at the bar and a cracking game of bingo cuz I won 40 quid we’ve woking up to a beautiful morning the sunrise was Lush um believe it or
Not I’ve come down to the est3 to show you and that gray cloud is just literally covered the Sun that was obviously just meant for us this morning but yeah there’s definitely a chill in the air there’s a frost on the ground and uh yeah it’s the coldest one we’ve
Had so far this year this place is amazing they’ve got loads for the family to do there’s swimming pools they’ve got an ice rink at the moment there’s Fair Ground rides you name it anything you can think of that you want to do you
Will do it last night we went to the bar we had an amazing steak dinner um then we did some Bingo they even put kids club on so they’ve been disco in all night as well so it’s been absolutely fantastic I’m going to going to get Stuart of bed cuz he’s literally just
Been fed bacon eggs cup of coffee and he’s still lying there get these activities underway on the way back I may as well show you the site the camping pods field and then right behind it then you’ve got a camping field that backs onto the EST so here we are we’ve
Got a park with their very own zip line and to be fair that’s the best park I’ve seen in a long time even put on a fun fair with an ice rink now the ice rink is really reasonable that’s about 30 for a family you’ve got your dods you’ve got your
Roller coasters and they’ve even put in a Subway way so you can walk to the other side in the summer time as well they’ve got pony rides they do from by here and you’ve got a lake there which is beautiful they this is the funny farm otherwise known as mini golf the
Swimming pool for a weekend it worked out for a family pass was £ 12250 and you can go as many times as you want this is actually the bar area where we had our dinner last night so I’m quite surprised to come in here this morning I
Was just going to show you the bar um to see all of this I think I might actually just go back to the van and get some cash out so I can uh have a little bit of a shopping here just looks Wicked right after all that I’m going to go and
Gu you up I did say I was going to get him up but um I ended up going for a walk around the site to show it off you so uh it’s been quite a stressful last couple of weeks so it was really really
Nice for us all to have a l in this morning um and it has been really really chilly as well so I did get up I made the coffee and the bacon rolls like I said the kids are awake um but I think they’re just enjoying being inside the
Van and just having a bit of family chill he’s up he’s out he’s raring to go he’s alive look at him doing a good dutiful thing and coming to the fair with me this is all for her this is no interest in Christmas shopping at
All if you love not really but I do like a little market so we have a little nose when we yeah and if you see me for the last 10 minutes so there got my face sorry about that St you just told me about it he loves it really I bet you he

Need a good hour in so I’ve decided to cook them some beans on toast and a little bit of a snack for lunch booked actually an evening tonight out at the bar it’s called the gate in but they do festive menus and meals in there probably have another game of bingo yeah
I was well happy cuz last night I won 40 quid so I’m yet to take the kids ice skating they will be going at some point today I think it was working out 440 for two adults and three children or it’s like a family ticket for £30 if

Wait to see them all on the ice again I’m useless they love their swimming I’ve literally just gone back got everyone changed it’s really really nippy so yeah we’re all wrapped up warm the kids have just run down with their Dads straight down to the ice skating so they’re are probably
Already on the rink already I’ve freezing I’ve had to truck on a scarf for Coast a Lot fair play that ice skating was absolutely hilarious last time I was here I did go on the ice this time I was like can’t breath it I can’t be on the floor all the time but the kids were absolutely amazing they’ve picked it up so fast it was really really proud of
Him so we’ve just booked into Santa’s Grotto quarter past 4 so we’re going to go and meet Santi and his uh helpers I’m going to show you around there because it’s supposed to be really really good are you all ready yeah we got tell them

We’ve done is stuffed our faces drank been marry for a Christmas weekend it’s been absolutely perfect it’s got us feeling really really festive there was morning Bingo the this morning and I won another 30 quids that was 70 in total so that’s pretty much paid for the weekend
I’ve just had a Sunday roast and pudding the kids are stuffed stew stuffed yeah it’s been a really really lovely weekend the family have all been together and just really relaxed and enjoyed it if you want to go somewhere for Christmas highly highly recommend it good morning so after a weekend of
Fun and Christmas and festive activities we’re back at it and the wall has been knocked through and we’ve got the boys here working hard they’re finally building me an office so by the end of this week I’ll have a place in the unit look at this there we go there’s the wall knocks
Through and here they all are hard at work he’s even smiling right so I’ve just been out and got the boys all chips for their lunch so we’ve all munched up but the progress they’re making is absolutely amazing I’m literally in the way today to be honest there’s nothing
Really I can do apart from cleaning up after everybody so I’m just trying to like Po about behind the scenes look at that I can’t believe how much they’ve managed to Do he D turns out I’m not a complete waste of space I’ve just insulated the best part of that office as I can I’ve now got a nip out to B andq I’ve got myself this huge list of wants so on my list I’ve got more insulation cuz I’ve got to
Finish the front on the side I’ve got some underlay and some flooring so I get to choose what I want so that’s nice 7 m I need though so that’s quite a lot in it um I need to get double sockets and single sockets and light switches and
Loads of screws it’s now started raining as well so it’s just as well st’s managed to get all the wood in he’s put it all in the units and they’re cracking on building so I’m just going to going to run around and do all the bits that I
Can do basically and try and stay out the way as much as possible but yeah I’m really Ted myself doing the insallation I’m pretty sure I’ve got everything on the list so far so good the only problem is I don’t know if it’s all going to fit
In the car and I’ve got to come back in for a second trolley load because I’m pretty much full this is definitely going to be a put the seats down jobby I haven’t even got the laminate yet and that’s pretty full unbelievably I’ve managed to get it all in I’m hoping now
He’s going to be quite impressed that I’ve managed to get everything off the list saying that you’ll probably be more impressed I haven’t actually bought anything extra other than what was on the list sometimes I get completely distracted and I end up buying other stuff that I didn’t even go out for
Right let’s go see how they’re getting on come on then let’s see you do one so it’s been a particularly long day today I’ve gone and got the kids from school they’re all behind me there on their iPads they’ve just had uh a takea away for their tea st’s still working
