More comfortable or to release some little pressure point let’s start first with the little material we need so first we need to prepare our skate so for this we want to keep the frame on the skate especially if you have aluminum frame keep the frame on it
Because if we do the itat molding uh without the frame on it there is a little risk that we Twist little bit the boot or curve it un perfectly so make sure you keep your frame on the boot uh to make it better it will uh keep the
Basic part of the shape in a good condition we also need uh some gloves and with the gloves it’s because when we’ll put the skate in the oven it will become quite warm and with the metallic part on the shoes and on the frame you don’t want to burn your end so be
Careful with all the metallic part like the frame the Buckle and the different eyelet of the skate uh you need also to take some aluminum paper so you can have aluminum paper like this so we can create some little shape like this that will help us later to um release uh the
Pressure point inside the shoes if you need to make it even more comfortable so we will need this at the end of the video but first let’s set up the skate let’s put the skate in the oven um quite like this we just make sure all the
Laces is inside the Buckle is closed and we want to put the skate in the oven at the temperature of under 12° for 10 minutes okay don’t put it more and make sure you set up a little alarm on your phone for this time so you make sure you
Don’t forget the skate in the oven also otherwise it will melt some material will be damaged so make sure you keep 10 minutes under 20° also you need to make sure that you set up the oven you can do this in any oven not in a microwave for sure don’t use
Microwave for this it’s not going to work and it’s going to damage totally the things and with the metallic part in the microwave is dangerous don’t use microwave only use oven and you can also turn the setting on the of the oven into the the fan bake so it means that the
Air inside the the oven will will turn so it’s like regular temperature all inside the oven so let’s do it 10 minutes under 20 deg and let’s wait till the skates are ready so now that my skates are ready I put some gloves to take out the skate from the oven be very
Careful when you take it out you know there is some warm part so just be careful with your skates with the oven don’t turn yourself here and uh be careful with like I said with all the metallic parts the frame the Buckle and the eyelid okay then you just need uh
Now that the skate is warmer it’s it’s much softer in all this area so it’s perfect uh to be able to change the shape of the carbon so let’s uh put the skates uh the fet inside of the skates and you you can use socks actually I
Normally skate Barefoot but uh for this uh heat molding process for the heat molding process it’s better to use socks just to protect your feet also from all the warm part so still be careful with all the warm part make sure you tie the skate very good from the bottom to the
Top so tight all the laces one by one to make sure that the there is pressure for pressure you need to have pressure on the carbon so so it goes all around your foot and then you just wait basically you wait into the skating position so
Bring your knee to the front of your boot kind of like this here keep the skating position wait that the boot get um cold again or normal temperature so then it stabilized to this new Chaine the good point with the Axel boot here is like it’s a very narrow shoes as you
Can see so it’s easier to make a shoes going from narrow to wide and it’s quite difficult ult to have a wide boot getting more narrow so here you will be able to adjust the shoes uh to your foot much more nicely so just wait that all
The process is going you can also during this uh time of cooling if you want to have some area of around the boot that is closer uh you can also maintain some pressure like this especially in the ill part you really want around the hill that the skate stay close you want to
Have ill lock so make sure uh you can ask a friend with also gloves to hold around the carbon behind and put pressure to make it even closer to the foot if you have some little pressure point inside the foot so sometime it can happen like in the internal part here
Near this a scaffo bone when we skate you know when we take outside edge Inside Edge this bone is moving or in the fruit so it can create some pressure point what I can recommend is you can make with aluminium paper paper you can use aluminum paper like this or just
Some foam or whatever soft material you can find you can make a little reinforcement like this that you will place between the foot and the sock so when you do the process when you tight this will be inside your shoes and uh it will create an extra shape around uh the
Pressure point so it will feel more pressure during the process but when the boot gets uh get cold again at normal temperature and will you put your foot inside the boot without your socks and without the little uh extra material it will feel much more comfortable and
