Angel Tis the season for lots of fun holiday. Cheer at Prince George’s Parks and rec. What kind of events do you have for all of us to enjoy? Thank you for having me. The Department of Parks and Recreation in Prince George’s is thrilled to put on another
Holiday full of events for our residents and our visitors all over the DMV, whether young or young at heart. Um Some of those include things like on December 21st, we have a screening of the classic holiday film. It’s a Wonderful Life at Harmony Hall, Art Center on December 22nd.
If you need to do some last minute shopping, drop the kids off at Largo Kettering Perry Wood Community Center, we’ll keep them busy with roller skating dinner and a movie on December 28th in honor of Kwanzaa. You can join us for traditional candle lighting plant, watering and live performances at Roland Crest Chilli
Community Center. So much fun. A little something for everybody. And like you said, not just for residents of Prince George’s County, right? You want all of us visitors to come join you, right? And we’ve got this uh for, for our featured event for December.
We are encouraging folks to come out to our 37th annual Winter Festival of Lights. It’s running now through January 1st and it’s shining bright with three miles of drive through light displays. So come experience dazzling scenes that celebrate the magic of the season from the comfort of your car.
This year, we’re offering hay rides and as always, admission on Christmas is free. We just asked folks to bring a can good for local families in need. Oh, that’s wonderful. Giving back the cheer and I love to, I love those drive through light displays because if
