Boy who was simply playing outside a house with his family members roller skating. In fact, when someone in a vehicle pulled up and started firing. His parents did not wait for the ambulance. Instead they threw him in their vehicle and rushed him to the hospital. And despite doctors attempts to
Save the life of that young boy, he did not make it. All this happened shortly after 730 last night. Investigators say the child was hit by the gunfire near this abandoned house at the corner of Cavell Street and Nottingham Drive. This morning Michigan State Police K-9 officer Havoc discovered at least four shell
Casings believed to be connected to that shooting. DPD Crime scene technicians recovered those and brought out a metal detector to see if there were any more casings. I saw some detectives scouring the thick weeds and grass with their hands searching for additional evidence. Other detectives trying to
Chase down any tips so they can catch whoever’s involved and ask them why they do it. >> To our knowledge they had no interaction with the individuals who drove by. But again, it’s still open It is still open investigation. We’re trying to determine exactly what happened. But to our knowledge at this
Current time we have no type of relation between those victims and the vehicle that drove by and the shots came from. This is one of those instances where we need everyone in the community, everyone in community to help us to bring these individuals to justice.
