Could be the answer hey Jordan good morning you guys well I actually love rollerblading so that’s why I wanted to come here and show you the option to skate I challenge myself today and actually put on the regular skates so I’m not as good as I normally am but
It’s a great workout and I’ve got Alyssa Stockton here with skatemore to tell us a little bit more about how great of an exercise skating really can be Alyssa what are some of the benefits so skating at least for one hour you can burn up to 600 calories and here at skatemore on
The skating floor around 16 laps equals one mile so you can really get a good workout here a lot of miles in that is so crazy and it’s way more fun than just running or and you get to listen to music you have the light so it’s super
Entertaining while you’re getting a good workout right I love that and it can be a little challenging I’m struggling a little bit on these skates but you guys have ways to help kids especially get introduced to skating as well yes we do so on afternoon sessions we have our
Skating classes so what we do is we teach the kids how to get up and how to just get started to skate so cool okay let’s get started I want to show you guys Alyssa because she’s really good on these skates and I’ll just kind of be here trying my best
So while you’re doing that can you how you have opportunities for adults as well to come out yeah so we are open Thursday Friday and Saturdays and Sundays a lot of our adults they come on Saturday nights we’re open from 7 to 11 and our teenagers really they
Come on Friday so it’s really fun for adults and kids and I think about young kids and playing video games and just like sitting around on the couch but this is a great way to get them off the couch and doing something fun with their friends yeah right yes and we have games
Here as well we play dodgeball Red Light Green Light we have races it’s really competitive really fun for the kids Ah that’s awesome okay Alyssa I want to try to race you because I feel like you’re really good let’s see maybe we can get a little red light green light going
Joey maybe you can be our red light green light okay let’s see it okay ready here we go oh yeah this is a good workout I’m feeling it okay also we have some cool lights in here let’s hit the lights and see how those work okay we’re bringing it down
Wow I mean they have those fancy spin classes it’s basically the same thing but you get to roller skate I’m feeling pretty confident right now and burning tons of calories 600 calories in one hour I mean what could be better the only issue is I can’t

You’re really not good consider gravity changes slightly I hate to even tell you I actually when I was very young yes was that a school event at the skating rink and we were doing like the Hokey Pokey and I turned the wrong way and my girlfriend fell and broke her arm
So you’re scarred for life when it comes to that limits I’m not shading anymore
