You watch fun for Louie as well with me cuz I remember like coming home from high school like getting home like eating some food that my mom ate and like either in between homework or working out or something or skating I was just like watching these travel

Vlogs on YouTube I was like super obsessed with it um and uh so Jack let me know I’m curious if I don’t remember I’m pretty sure I remember you used to watch them um so I was super super super inspired by that stuff so when 2014 came around

Which was the year I graduated high school uh I I got like a GoPro and I started doing these trips with friends all around the US in my shitty car um we would drive to parts of Florida went to one trip we did Georgia Alabama um Orlando we just would drive

Around and just Adventure um we do anything to not be home you know like we would always go out always go out and explore now I got got a big video that explains sort of the remember to remember your memories thanks Jack that’s a good that’s a good saying

$400 and now it’s $773,000 things have [ __ ] has changed in the last 10 years um so yeah we we we we’ve come a very long way it’s been 10 years on the road 64 countries under the belt and now a major major major life change with obviously with what happened um with uh

Dream of live of being a YouTuber of taking this to that level in 2017 I quit my ret I was working a retail job at a phone store in Miami and I was [ __ ] depressed I was like I hate this I I I I decided I wasn’t going

To do college I was like you know what I’m going to I’m going to go ahead and I’m going to try this for real and I’m going to know if I want to do this as a full-time job in 2017 I quit my job I think around around March flew to Mexico

I tried doing southeast Asia in a way that nobody’s done before which was full on just documentary style videos about serious topics religion um important things that I that would spoke to me conservation Wildlife whatever and the series did so bad and it dragged on for one year year where I wasn’t making

Money I wasn’t doing like it was just the channel was [ __ ] on itself and some of the people in the comments were like your content’s crap you know your content’s really bad now you’ve changed I don’t like this style and you sort of question yourself in your head you’re

Like what if what if what I’m doing is wrong you know like what if innovating is a wrong thing should I just go back to my old ways it made me question a lot um it was a hard like it was a very very hard last two years with the finishing

The construction of my house um the getting over getting through the PTSD of the typhoon I experienced in Israel in uh the Philippines and then Reinventing myself content wise um but yeah now now we’re at a place where I never ever thought I would be which is straight up

Just doing Israel content like I can’t I can’t see myself really shifting out of this like I don’t think any of you guys that are watching right now would be interested in me traveling the world again right you guys can confirm to me in the chat but I’m I’m curious like I

From that alone from that intro he used to take intros like he would put an intro for his video and he would give a shout out to some person so I I had just gone to Africa and was beginning my journey I made an intro saying hey my

Name is tall traveling clad I’m in Africa right now I’m about to start traveling around the world would love you guys to follow me and I think the first like 600 subscribers I got from his channel um but the algorithm was so different then and travel vlogging was different then

And I didn’t have a budget to travel to places I wanted to I was like on a I was on a Sho string a lot of times I would sleep on the streets it happened quite a bit of times a lot of times I was couch

Surfing I did anything cuz my dream was to travel that’s all I wanted to do so I was willing to do whatever to make it happen um so in that in that period of time that first 10,000 took me 3 years to sort of hone in the craft but after

The jump from 10,000 to 11 to to 20,000 was very fast 20,000 to 100,000 happened within a year and a half then this last 100,000 uh to 250,000 has taken a long ass time actually I would say like 200,000 to 50,000 to 250,000 has taken the longest I’m pretty sure I hit
