Spend it the way you want to spend it so don’t feel like just because you committed to booking reservation for M Mia or going to the Schooner bar that you must stay there for the entire set out of some sort of obligation that you feel from it it’s your cruise Fair it’s

Cruise but didn’t do it on herself and she regretted in fact she called it one of her biggest regrets before your Cruise you’ll pack a smaller carryon bag and a bigger piece of luggage much like an airplane since you leave a bigger piece of luggage with the porters it’s

Investigating new areas on board however in the future especially on smaller ships kalista said that she would regret doing anything that was longer than about four or five days another regret kalista had was not bringing enough cash even though there are opportunities to get cash on board your ship now kalista
Knew that there are going to be opportunities in which you need to cash on hand as an example you need to cash for Porters at the cruise terminal or for tour guides on your Shore excusions or of course in an emergency at one of your ports maybe a credit card isn’t
Available for you now kalista doesn’t usually carry cash and I can relate to this I don’t usually carry that much cash with me anyway in my usual run-of-the-mill days here on land so kalista had to run to an ATM before she went to a cruise and she didn’t realize
Though that there would be an ATM on board so there wasn’t necessarily A need to panic in that sense either way having cash was useful she was still able to tip the porters and of course purchase some souvenirs along the way so I guess in that respect don’t feel like you need
To get every single Dollar in hand before your cruise begins there are opportunities to get cash once on board another regret that kalista had was not bringing the broadest possible range of outfits now kalista tried to plan ahead as best she could when it comes to
Packing and I can relate to this and I can commiserate with this because packing for a cruise can be a challenge because in kalista’s case she didn’t foresee the sheer amount of activities that she would have access to so if kalissa could do it all over again she
Said she would have packed outfits or activities like laser tag ice skating biking water parks and more one of the best packing decisions she made was to bring every single swimsuit that she owned she used all of them and even actually bought a new one in St Martin
In addition to eaing a swimsuit every day she sometimes went to the beach at noon and the hot tub at night requiring two different swimsuits Su now she probably could have not packed for every event but her advice would be to bring as many different outfits as possible
And I kind of relate to this you know there’s often that debate of overpacking or not right and while overpacking is not ideal because there just extra heft and weight in the grand scheme of things I prefer to overpack number one cruise ships don’t charge you overage fees for
Your bags being heavy like Airlines do and number two piggy backing on kalista’s point it’s better to have more choices than you need than not enough another regret kalista had was not realizing how much more extras there would be in terms of cost on a cruise
Now there’s a lot that’s included in the base fair and the Bas Fair includes meals in the main dining room Wind Jammer carian beastro and grao spots like Park Cafe y Cafe prominade and of course tantos pizza but in the end some of her favorite meals were included in
The Bas Fair like of course the wi jambers beef stew and cheesecake in the main dining room however she also learned that extra features would add up quickly once you set foot on board for example she didn’t have a drink pack package and she didn’t have any diamond
Drinks this was her very first creas so she ended up paying $16 to $17 for every single time she ordered an alcoholic drink and that adds up to the bar bill now kalista could have bought a drink package certainly or maybe budgeted more appropriately save some more money you
Know to have for a bar tab if you will either way it does add up quickly and this is one of the things when I first started cruising I didn’t like as well I remember at the end of every Cruise almost dreading that end of the cruise
Bill so one advantage of buying a drink pack package is you can of course budget more appropriately be able to pre- purchase before the sailing and have less of a giant bill at the end of your cruise another regret kalista had about her very first cruise was assuming the
Dress codes were more stringent especially for nonner meals now before her very first cruise kalista knew about dress Coates especially for theme nights like formal night or dress your best and she chose not to particularly prepare for the while packing other than bringing a few nice dresses on her
Cruise she saw many people following the day’s dress code Cruisers wore fancy dresses and suits on formal night and dress your best night and she saw many Hawaiian trips on Caribbean night however most themed outfits seem to only be at dinner time and for photos at

Plenty of food on board a Royal Caribbean ship but there’s actually some really good tips out there about packing snacks for your room now I I actually use this for my kids but this applies to adults just as much because having something to eat at night or in between
Meals without spending the money for room service or of course dragging yourself out of your cabin to go find a snack is a nice benefit of it so kalissa says she only wish that she brought more snacks because it was really helpful and convenient to be able to snack
Throughout the day now to be clear there are opportunities to snack on a royal caran ship I don’t want to make it seem like there isn’t food available but sometimes you might be in the mood for Pringles or Taki chips or your favorite bar of chocolate in any case having
Those things readily available exactly what you want in your cabin is a nice option and you are allowed to bring prepackaged snacks on your cruise and the last thing kalista wish that she knew before her very first cruise was that the food included in the fair tastes just as good as especially
Restaurants some of her favorite meals on her very first cruise on wonder of the Seas were like lunches in the Wind Jammer main dining room dinners and the complimentary coffee she reserved dinner at three special year restaurants to compare isumi Habachi Wonderland and the Mason jar and she had a wonderful dining
Experience at all those restaurants and she found the quality of food was very similar to the meals included in the fair for example mason jars offerings tasted a lot like the wind jamers food but obviously with a different Cuisine matching the southern American theme and enhanced by the decorations and plating
