Dear amazing supporters of Rolla,
Can you believe it’s been a whole year since our Dragons Den appearance and the fantastic Indiegogo campaign? Your incredible support has been instrumental in our progress, and I wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude and provide you with some exciting updates.
First and foremost, I am thrilled to share with you the impact of your support over the past year:
– We have revamped the Rolla Instructor Course, making it more accessible for individuals to embark on their journey towards self-employment as a Rolla Coach.
– In November 2023, we hosted a successful live Instructor Online Workshop with over 20 attendees from around the world.
– Our efforts to streamline operations led us to transition to a new CRM in January 2024, ensuring a smooth and efficient platform for future Rolla Skate Club owners.
– The launch of a new adult membership funnel offering free trial classes has resulted in an average 10% increase in membership month over month.
– We have relaunched the Rollas Helping Rollas program with a more accessible application process and have subsidized over 40 memberships in 2024.
– A new Junior Coach Training program at Rollerland has been established, inviting young skaters to learn from experienced coaches. Currently, we have 3 junior skaters in this program.
– We are pleased to announce our continued partnership with the PNE! We’re in the final stages of renewing our lease for a further 4 years at the amazing Rollerland building in East Vancouver. We’re here to stay!
In other news, you may have already heard that Carla Smith, also known as Bizness Time, Rolla Co-Founder, and the visionary behind the beautiful Rollerland space, has decided to embark on new adventures in 2024. We are immensely grateful for her incredible vision and dedication that has shaped Rolla into the vibrant community it is today. Thank you, Carla, for everything. We couldn’t have done this without you!
None of these achievements would have been possible without YOUR incredible support. As we continue on this rollercoaster journey, the Rolla Team is excited about building this space and community for many more years to come. We are truly grateful that you’ve been part of this journey.

– Consider purchasing another Annual Rolla Membership. Due to popular demand, we’re offering them again at just $1,111 (saving over 50% compared to month-to-month pricing). If you’re not currently a member, you can buy yours here. If you’re an existing member, fill out this form to switch your current membership over. Hurry, the sale ends on December 31st, 2024.
– Know someone who could benefit from the gift of rollerskating but may not be able to afford it right now? Direct them to the Rollas Helping Rollas program here and we’ll find a level of support that works for them.
– Share our story with at least one new person this week. Let’s spread the word and let Vancouver know that we’re here!
