This summer, our skate studios in Leeds are brimming with a variety of classes and events tailored to keep you engaged and active. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, we have something special lined up just for you. Let’s dive into the extra classes and events we have planned!
Summer Classes for Every Level
We have two skate clinics coming up : on Saturday 5th 2- 3.30 and Saturday 12th 2 – 3.30 these are two special session in which you can come and ask us for help with anything you might need to work on. Stuck with your stopping ? We’ve got you. Need help with transitions ? We’re here to get you turning.
If you grab a ticket you can come down and get our coaches to help you with your specifc development goal. These sessions are limited to a small size so we can make sure you are receiving the tailored feedback you need.
Beginner Skate Course Starting the 14th of July
You asked us and we listened. We had originally scheduled our next beginners course to begin in September but due to popular demand we are now running an additional summer program too.
If you’re just getting started in roller skating, our beginner classes are your ideal launching pad. Over six weeks, you’ll master core skills such as balance, pushing and stopping. Don’t fret if you’re feeling a bit nervous; our experienced instructors will provide guidance throughout your journey.
By the end of this course, you’ll build the confidence and skills you need to continue on your roller skating journey
Special Events to Look Forward To
Summer Skate Picnic – 19th of July
Join us for some mini workshops and some outdoor skate fun at Bodington Fields. Bring your own food, and have a picnic with us! All human powered modes of transport (except cycles) and ages welcome. We have a very exciting raffle and competions happening during the day! This is not one to miss!
Craft Workshop – 26th of July
Next up we have a one off workshop where you can learn to crochet your own amigurumi animal. You can pick from either an adorable pink dinosaur or a little ladybird. We’ll have expert teachers on hand to help you through the whole process and at the end of the class you can take your friend home either finished or with the knowledge you need to finish in your own time.
We will also be providing a tasty treat and unlimited tea and coffee to fuel the crafting.

Mel is running Focus and Flow Roller Dance classes on Wednesdays, we have our learn to skate sessions on Sundays and as alway you can pop along to one of our drop in sessions or hire our studio space for more wheely good times!
