We’ve got a jam-packed schedule this November and we’re excited to welcome you to our cosy space at The Skate Sanctuary as the days grow shorter.
And spectators or non-skaters, we have you covered too – our seating is comfier than the average sports hall chair AND we’ve got a selection of hot and cold drinks.
FAMILIES:
We’re continuing our drop-in sessions between 12-2pm for ages 5+ Monday / Wednesday / Friday / Saturday and Sunday
We also have structured classes for children aged 7+ on most Saturday mornings.
We’ve got structured classes most evenings and all day on Sundays – just select the right level for you.
We recommend starting with learn to roller skate foundation skills, then moving along a pathway that excites you – this could be roller dance, or outdoor skating (we run a comprehensive programme in Spring / Summer) or you may want to explore the competitive world of roller derby – our pals over at Leeds Roller Derby, Haunted City York and Wakey Wheels Cats are really friendly folks.
If you’re looking to make new friends and try a new hobby at the same time, we’ve designed our space for you! Our studio is deliberately smaller as this helps us feel safe enough to chat to people we don’t already know, as well as try new things.
Why not join our wreath making workshop at the end of the month and bring your non-skating friends to our space? Unlimited tea/coffee and Jodie Bakes snacks are included, as well as all materials.
