From Monday 22nd December, we have 3 taster sessions during the day – Kids only sessions, Family learning sessions and Adult sessions.
Skate + safety pad hire can be paid for on arrival at our studio for an additional £3
Do you prefer to just skate – come along to our drop in session from 12-2pm – it’s just £5 per skater for 2 hours! During the Winter holidays it can get busy in our studio, so advance booking is recommended. Busy for us is still not as busy as a roller rink – part of our mission is to support connection between people – so we do encourage skaters to chat and get to know each other in this session.
If you prefer to have all the studio to yourself, you can book our studio for £35 per hour and if we still have availability the day before, you can book our studio for £15 per hour! You simply need to WhatsApp / text / email us to find availability. We will send you a payment link. Booking is only secure once paid.

Families and Children
We offer structured classes for children aged 7 and over on Saturday mornings.
10am: Levels 1&2: little experience
11am: Levels 2&3: more experience
NEW! Wednesday Learn to Skate course for kids 6.30-7.30pm
Monthly Smallest Skaters session – studio based play session for children aged 6 and under
Monthly Family Learn ‘n’ Roll session @Ramgarhia sports hall – a faster paced roller disco with tips to continue improving
We will continue to offer fortnightly Home Ed Sessions on Thursday mornings.
Drop In Skate sessions between 12-2pm offer amazing value – please note that free parking is only available at the weekend.
We have a large step directly outside our studio from the car park and due to the car parking space outside our door, we are unable to install an access ramp. We have on site toilets, but do not have disabled facilities.
Adult Skate Sessions
Most sessions during the evening and Sunday skills are for adults. Please decide what level you are and book accordingly. You may find that you sit across a boundary for our skills classes – check the focus of the session and book the one that appeals to you.
Level 1 – little to no experience or returning to skating after injury. These sessions are slow-paced to support your confidence development with skills.
Level 2 – may have roller skated when you were younger, have experience of ice skating or you have lots of courage. Focus in these sessions is on foundation skill development.
Level 3 – able to control your speed, stop and fall safely. You’re likely also developing other skate skills such as crossing your feet and backwards.
Level 4 – confident skater with lots of experience looking to try new things! Expect jumping, more complex stops and turns.
If you’ve never done Roller Dance before, even if you are a Level 3 or 4 skater, we recommend you come to our Level 2 course to understand the mechanics of movement. We’ve been teaching roller dance since 2017 and have designed our curriculum to support natural progression in skills.
Our social skate sessions are for all levels – where there is coaching available, this will be less formal, with our team supporting you where you are. With our new FUNKY FORMATION FRIDAY line dancing session, you are welcome to join in with either skates or shoes!
We are also delighted to offer two new Wheels of Connection sessions, funded by National Lottery players and awarded by Sport England, to support Neurodivergent skaters and Minority Gender skaters. Our Sensory session on Tuesdays will offer gentle coaching in a low-stimulus environment with carers welcome. Our Prism session on Thursday evenings welcomes Minority Genders and their allies to develop their skate skills with a coach to support. These are both partly funded by Sport England and we are required to collect additional data to satisfy the award.
If you can’t decide what is right for you, how about a SKATE PASS? Our monthly membership offers all the skate sessions for a single price of £50 per month. That is a whole lot of skating!
If you want to meet other skaters, this is how – you’ll start to see the same faces and make friends at sessions. Watch you skating blossom along with friendships!
Please be aware that we expect members who book sessions to turn up to the session, or give us at least 12 hours notice so we can release the place to someone else. If you do not do this, and the session is full, we reserve the right to charge you the full class price.
