Many years ago there was a book designed to help people interested in building a skating rink. It was called the Roller Skating Resource Manual. We’ve been working to bring this book back, and it is almost ready. The new version is currently at the printer and is expected to be completed by mid-January.
This new edition includes 18 chapters covering every major part of opening or improving a rink—flooring, rental skates, sound and lighting, snack bar operations, carpet, entertainment, lessons, insurance, and more.
