A bit superstitious with games I constantly in interviews especially when I first started out would would always try to get hockey players to tell me their superstitions and they just like don’t like talking about it are you that way or are you open to oh yes okay tell me so game day
For cat to Foley what are your non-negotiables oh well that’s different that’s been different on every team almost okay yeah so honestly it kind of started when I worked for the Dodgers and Tai played for the Kings and um so their playoffs the Kings would be around opening day for Dodgers and
Then Dodger playoffs would be like opening day for Kings so I would kind of bounce between the games like and change my location so that was kind of my Superstition there Montreal I wouldn’t watch
The games cuz he he would only do well and the team would only do well when I didn’t watch so you didn’t watch them at all no but I when they finally let us go to games during like a Stanley
Cup run I would sit there because I didn’t want to not go but I’d just be on my phone the whole time like looking at like Housewives drama and stuff like wait yeah like wait wait wait wait so
I’m there but I’m not watching hang on a second so your husband is on this epic unexpected Cinderella run with the Montreal Canadians yeah and you are at the games but like afraid to look up yeah yeah

For a normal day as the NHL’s commissioner how do you prepare for the day what are you doing that’s a good question uh every day is a little bit different my day consists of meetings phone
Calls reading things to to get up to speed on either an area that I need to be more familiar with or something that we’re planning on doing U but no day follows a particular script and
