You ever find yourself lying in bed trying to fall asleep when all of a sudden a thought pops into your head a thought of a random toy or doll that you completely forgot about has now entered your mind and you can’t remember the name of it maybe you remember the hair
Color or the clothes it had or maybe some words that it used to say whenever you would press a button on it it’s hidden deep within the darkest steps of your brain and you’re almost unsure if this toy even existed now you have to find out you’re scrolling through your
Phone looking anywhere you can to try to find this toy you must have that Rush of rediscovering something from your childhood that was so so special to you and you’re not alone I do this all of the time memories of Forgotten dolls or toys pop back into my head and I just
Have to figure out which toy it was what the name was if it even existed if it’s just something I made up in my head where did it go why did it disappear and do other people remember playing with that toy despite being born in the late
’90s I was a 2000s girly through and through I grew up playing with all of the super fun colorful and overall magical toys of the 2000s super unique and quirky doll lines were all over the place everything was bright and pink musical Fantastical and I know I can’t
Be the only one that misses this time period today we’ll be going through some super iconic dolls of the 2000s but also some really obscure and forgotten toys that have been hidden away in the back of our subconscious my name is Maya faith and this this is your dose of
2000’s Nostalgia I hope that this video can help spark some happy childhood memories for you so grab a snack get comfy and relax while we enter the world of Forgotten dolls in the 2000s I’m going to start off with some of the more well-known 2000s dolls and then we’re
Going to make our way to some of the more obscure forgotten dolls so make sure to stick around because you might ReDiscover something that you completely forgot About so this would not be a doll video if we didn’t talk about the most well-known of all I’m talking about the one the only Barbie I’m sure that most of you know Barbie was released by The Toy Company Mattel in 1959 the girl has been around for a very long time but
Let’s Deep dive into some of the Barbies specifically from the 2000s some of the more remembered Barbie dolls from this era are some of the Barbie princess dolls that came from her direct to DVD movies if you watch these movies growing up you know how magical and fun they
Were and their dolls were so special too to name just a few and to spark some of those little nostalgic memories for you we have Clara from Barbie and the Nutcracker this was Barbie’s first movie What was super cute about these movies was that Barbie herself was like an
Actress in these worlds she would like be telling her little sister Kelly about one of these stories and then she would like portray the character so in this story she was Clara from The Nutcracker now this doll is so freaking adorable I did own her as a kid and she has a
Really sweet pink and sparkly dress she would spin in her ballet shoes on this little pink stand and you could also buy The Nutcracker as well bit creepy she also had her Pony and her sled I loved her golden curls she was released in 2001 and was actually remade a few times
In the last 20 years the quality has gone downhill a little bit on these dolls they’re just not is like fun and magical and memorable so after we got Barbie’s first movie we got the best one in my opinion which was Barbie Repunzel I know that’s a hot take there is
Something so so magical about Barbie Rapunzel I just loved that her hairbrush would turn into a paintbrush and then she could just paint an entire town on the wall and walk through like what more could you ask for in the world really I just really wanted to talk about a few
Of these Barbie movies because I really miss the more fantastic IAL and Whimsical world of Barbie in the 2000s it really made you feel like you were a part of the story and like you were a princess we have Odette from Swan Lake and we of course have the princess and
The popper Duo that everybody loved the dolls sang together but there were some more random princess dolls in the mix does anyone remember rose princess Barbie rose princess Barbie was released in 2000 and this doll was not attached to any of the Barbie movies but I vividly remember having this doll
Pulling these little strings on her back that lifted her hair up it was like a way of changing up her style and you could also remove her poofy dress and she had like a basic Little Pink Dress underneath she was pretty cute and she should have had her moment in a movie I
Mean come on like who is the rose princess I want to know all about her lore another Barbie movie that you may know is Barbie Fairytopia from 2005 some of the original Fairytopia dolls are these colorful fairies don’t have any names attached them but I remember
Having the blue one as a kid they had blue pink and lavender the mermaid dolls were actually so cute as well other Barbie Fairytopia dolls that have been lost to time now are the Wonder fairy dolls they came in pink yellow and blue and they had these little mini Pixies
With them I also had the blue one but I remember being confused as to why the dolls were not in the actual Fairytopia movie I kind of expected them to at least be background characters but I guess they were just meant to introduce you to the Magical World
And it worked I was a fairy and mermaid lover at the time and this line just sparked so much joy and Imagination funnily enough I started to kind of move away from the Barbie movie franchise during this time bertopia meradio worlds like I feel like they were just
Releasing a couple different movies and I was a little bit lost as to where it was going meanwhile it really would have been my cup of tea so I don’t know why I just couldn’t figure it out but I definitely feel like I should go back
And rewatch those I should do like an entire video video ranking those movies honestly because that would be so much fun okay so moving away from the magical Barbies and into the ever so iconic pop star Barbies because everyone should remember these iconic Stars let’s start with pop sensation Barbie pop sensation
Was released in 2002 this doll just screams early 2000 and just watch this incredible Commercial you can sing along with your own heads Way I could not understand what my Barbie was singing at the time I can clearly hear it now in the commercial but for whatever reason when I was a kid and I played her and she was on her little star stage and she was just going
I did not know what she was saying I don’t know why it doesn’t matter because I could make her sing anyways horribly I’m sure and oh my gosh her crimped hair and her her jewels and her glitter she is the cutest thing I honestly missed that 2000’s pop era everyone wanted to
Be Britney or Beyonce or Kelly Clarkson or Hillary Duff I wanted to be in a girl band so bad I definitely made a few with my friends we were the kids that did perform for our parents in order to have a sleepover we really did do that I’m
Really glad that that’s a universal experience between so many kids when they were younger though but one of my favorite pop star Barbies was called Barbie jaming glam which was released in 2001 the dolls consisted of Barbie christe and Teresa and they had like a rubbery bendable torso they can kind of
Move around and you can kind of make them dance and what I loved about this doll was that her hair could flip around and change colors I did this so many times I also loved her shiny metallic pants and I saw that this doll actually
Came with a tour bus which is so cute speaking of iconic pop star singing talented brilliant incredible amazing showstopping spectacular Barbie dolls let’s take a look at one of the best the American Idol Barbie dolls from 2004 first of all the early seasons of American Idol were
So cracked out in the best way I remember literally crying sobbing when Paris Bennett was sent home in 2005 in the fth season of American Idol I’m sure nobody knows who that is um she was a Queen to me but American Idol was everywhere at the time and if you were a
Kid in this era you were most likely already playing American Idol games with your friends you would like set up your Webkins and You’ make three of them the judges and then you would have your Webkins go up and then they would sing a song and then they would all vote them
Off I also did this with my Polly Pockets and we did do this with our Barbies which may have also sparked this amazing amazing amazing doll line especially because of the commercials for these dolls they had Barbie singing Britney Spears and as a huge Britney Spears stand they had me they also had
Simone who would sing ladies night by cool in the gang and they had Tor who’s saying What I Like About You by The Romantics like I said I thoroughly enjoyed these commercials but you could also go to the Barbie website and watch these animations of the girls singing
Their songs one thing that actually was really funny to me about these dolls was that their bodies were like rudely contorted like why does she look like that always just stuck in this silly position also I’d like to give a small shout out to my sister her and I are
Like 9 years apart once I grew out of Barbies he just kind of got passed down to her she did play with my Britney Spears American Idol Barbie doll and named her hip girl which is on brand sadly I did take hip girl out to a club for my friends 21st
Birthday she was never seen again and my sister has not forgiven me for that one moving on from the pop star Barbies of the 2000s let’s talk about a few more obscure forgotten Barbie dolls because I swear to God no one remembers dream glow Barbie she was released in 2001 and she
Had a plush body and she had these cute little star pajamas this aesthetic is absolutely pre precious like look at her pigtails she’s so cute and the streaks in her hair would glow in the dark and she came with these glowi in-the-dark star stickers if you had these glow-in-the-dark star stickers on your
Ceiling as a kid you won you you were the winner and this whole concept was just so sweet and dreamy also is that mini crust toothpaste in her box that’s hilarious I love her she’s perfect I want this doll again so bad there was also a dream Glow game that I know was
On the barbie website at the time and I can’t find it any it’s driving me crazy editor here I actually did find the Barbie Dream Glow game on the Wayback machine but I couldn’t actually click on it to play it but I got really excited that I was kind of able to find
An image for it if anyone remembers this one please let me know another Barbie that’s been brought up a lot in the last year is Barbie and Tanner from 2006 this is mainly due to the jokes in the Barbie movie that came out last year and for
Those who don’t know Barbie and Tanner was actually recalled due to the scooper that would scoop up the little doggy pellets there was a small magnet on the end of the scooper and it was a safety concern for kids from what I understand no one was actually injured for
Swallowing this magnet at all thank God it’s now like a little piece of Barbie history and I actually did have this toy but some other fun and forgotten Barbie pet sets were Kitty fun which was released in 2000 it came with this white fluffy cat that you could feed water and
It would use the litter box when you squeezed it and there was also Stylin pup which released in 2002 something else that was pretty cool that Barbie did every once in a while was release Barbie dolls that were characters for example I do have one of them here with
Me I have her here this is Dorothy this Wizard of Oz set was actually released in 1999 and I had the entire collection I was so lucky to have them whenever I was little and I was obsessed with them I guess I am cheating a little bit these
Are from 1999 not 2000 but I think it counts the set includes Dorothy Glinda the Scarecrow Tin Man Cowardly Lion and of course the Little Munchkins Munchkins were actually Kelly dolls which does lead us to our next topic honestly I could talk about so many forgotten
Barbie dolls I have so many written down for this video but it would definitely drag on and we need to get to some other 2000s icons if this video has unlocked some happy Barbie memories for you make sure to let me know in the comments if
You want to hear more I can definitely do a part two to this video showing even more obscure Barbie dolls now on to the next Kelly do you all remember Kelly does anyone remember Kelly bestie has been wiped from the Earth and I want to know why where did
She go she was a 2000’s Barbie stable and oh my God Chrissy where did Chrissy go where is she why where have all the children gone where have all the children gone also does anyone remember Kelly club or the Kelly club PC games doesn’t anyone talk about Kelly but essentially
Kelly was supposed to be Barbie’s little sister she was introduced in the Barbie world in 1995 and she was eventually retired in 2010 she showed up here and there in the Barbie movies and she did have multiple dolls I seriously loved this mermaid fun Kelly doll from 2002
Her hair would turn pink from the water her mermaid tail would change into a dress honestly any hair color changing gimmick as a kid had me sold immediately another cute little Kelly doll was fun treats Barbie and Kelly from 2002 this was a super cute mini kitchen set where
You could make your own Sweet Treats I didn’t have this set but I remember the commercial and specifically wondering what that weird looking frosting Play-Doh like food tasted like if you had this toy please let me know in the comments because I was definitely intrigued okay and also does anyone
Remember the bigger soft Kelly dolls I had this specific Kelly doll set from 2002 the inflatable bathtub flipped around and turned into a bed which I thought was so fun as a kid so why was Kelly retired well Kelly actually went by Shelly in Europe just due to some
Licensing issues and then later on they decided to Rebrand her as Chelsea so she could go by both names worldwide sticking on the Mattel train we have to talk about some super exciting news my scene is coming back just like Bratz had their Rebrand my scene is coming back War is Over well
Maybe War just started I actually enjoyed both my scene and Bratz as a kid and the reason I bring up Bratz is because my scene was actually a line that was made to compete with mga’s Bratz dolls and the girls have been fighting for years to this day and we
Saw Mattel also Puck fun of the Bratz in the Barbie movie My Scene was created by Mattel in 2002 and originally released three dolls Barbie yes they named one of them after miss queen Barbie which they later changed to Kennedy by the way and that that had me a little perplexed as a
Kid Chelsea and Madison eventually they did add more dolls along the way like noie Kenzie and Delany the dolls were more stylized than Barbie with bigger eyes larger heads Fuller lips and they served there were DVD movies episodes on the Barbie websites and the games they
Were so much fun it seems like most of the games were seriously a core memory for so many 2000s babies I can’t deny that I love going back my myself to play some of these My Scene itself could be considered a completely forgotten toy line I’ve seen some younger people on
Social media ask what they are and like comment that they look like a combination of Bratz and Barbie which yes but let’s talk about some of the most notable myene dolls masquerade Madness released in 2004 I was obsessed with these dolls I wanted Chelsea in her
Mermaid outfit so badly like look at all of them Barbie was in a butterfly costume Madison was serving in her cat costume Lancy was dream Genie noie was a rocker chick and Kenzie was on roller skates it was still a Sly and they all came with their own little pets to match
There was also a movie that came with this line one of the mying doll lines that I had as a kid that I loved was the Swap and styles line it was released in 2005 and it had a few different waves but the concept of this line was that
You could actually SW W the heads of the mying dolls to give them totally new looks I had noie at the time and I loved dressing her up and popping off her head and giving her a new one which is a little bit weird but somehow it worked
Also the commercial is so funny looking back on it now ready for anything girls did she change her outfit she changed her head now we can’t talk about my scene without talking about my bling bling this was a very controversial one for my scene but these girls were
Serving looks my bling bling was released in 2005 and featured new cat-shaped eyes and a bit more glamorous makeup this did not go over very well with parents they felt the new designs were too Saucy parents thought also that their outfits were too skimpy and it was
Just a shift for My Scene dolls overall from what they previously looked like this line is so iconic I would love to own one of these dolls and it’s honestly become a staple look for the brand last one for my scene this is a line that was
Engraved into my brain nightmare fuel My Scene Fab faces they were released in 2006 and the idea was that you could make your dolls have facial expressions and they could like talk to each other the concept was genuinely an interesting one I remember seeing this commercial as a child being both fascinated and
Horrified I’ve seen a really funny images online of people using the mechanism and they always just look so bizarre clearly it did not come across as the facial expressions they were trying to portray I actually did plan on making an entire Deep dive for my scene
So if you are really interested in that definitely leave me a comment below and let me know right so we can’t have a 2000’s doll video without talking about Miss pollypocket pollypocket was released relased in 1989 by Bluebird toys but it was later purchased and distributed by
Mattel Polly Pocket is actually still in stores today the original sets did start off very different paully has had a lot of different variations over the years she was super tiny and she was in these plastic compacts that was like a little built-in play set for her to play in
Paully got a bit of a Rebrand in the early 2000s as fashion Poes this version of poly pocket has has such a special place in my heart Polly grew from being about less than an inch tall to around less than 4 in tall these poly Pockets came with rubbery and chewable clothes
And again with this one the computer games were Immaculate on this website I will be doing a video on everythinggirl.com don’t you worry about that one of my favorite poly sets was the snow cool hotel set that was released in 2005 if there’s one thing I
Really loved as a kid it was any of the snow themed dolls I’m not sure what it was that appealed to me so much it just seemed super cozy and magical this set was so interactive and it had a little hot tub ski lift and you could have one
Of the girls actually ice skating on top some of the Forgotten poly Pockets that I don’t hear Too Many people talk about were the stretchy poly pockets they were these tiny stretchy rubbery little Polly Pockets and they had magnets on the bottom of their feet so they would
Actually stick to their playsets which was like a fun little gimmic these were super cute and sadly they didn’t really stick around very long oh you stink another little memory that I’d like to pull from the depths of your childhood brain were the Disney poly Pockets any
Of you have these little princess sets because I just loved them I was a Disney girl myself especially when it came to the Disney Princesses for whatever reason I remember the dresses being a little bit more difficult to get the dolls in let me know if you remember any
Of these poly pockets and if you want more of a deep dive into the world of poly let’s talk about one more Super well-known doll line before we move on to the more obscure forgotten dolls and of course I’m talking about the one and only Bratz Bratz is a fashion doll line
That was released in 2001 by MGA the line featured four diverse dolls that each had their own name personality and fashion sense the original core four are Chloe Yasmin Jade and Sasha Jade was the best Bratz definitely has had a huge comeback over the last few years it’s
Really crazy to see a doll line from the 2000s that eventually did fall off and discontinue a couple of different times in like the 2013 2015 era have such a major comeback in the 2020s the core main dolls actually did have their own reboot in their 2001 outfits in 2021 on
Their 20th anniversary I do own all four of these dolls and they’re just so cute I love their original clothes Bratz has mostly done reboots over the last few years like sweetheart Megan Wild Wild West Kiana and campfire Felicia if you’re a doll fan you know how Wild this is campfire Felicia
Was so so rare to find and would go for like an insane amount of money on eBay now you can just buy her at Target Bratz Rock Angels also made a comeback as well although the quality did shift a little bit there are plenty of lines that we
Could look at when it comes to the Bratz dolls but I would really like to dive into the more obscure forgotten ones hidden in the depths of your brain I originally did plan on going over the Bratz babies because they were super iconic and I thought they were a little
Bit lost to time well now they’re actually making a comeback as well and I will be purchasing but a line that was attached to the Bratz babies were the Bratz ponies I know this video is about dolls but these are additional toys for the dolls so it counts the ponies were
Released in 2005 and only lasted about a year or so it was super random but they were actually so goofy and campy and fun and if you played the computer game online you know how amazing that music was the song goes hard genuinely lives in my mind rent Free I played this game so many times as a kid and aside from the random ass ponies he got some very random cats pets cats pets foxes pets cats things I don’t really fully know what’s going on with these honestly they are pretty cursed why do their faces look
Like that Hey Arnold shaped it was an interesting concept but the actual stylization of them was a choice I mean they’re iconic as hell now very Camp very scary and finally L brats anyone remember these little mini Bratz because they were giving poly pocket Lil Bratz
Debuted in 2002 and had a ton of different lines and I feel like nobody really talks about those ones one of the core memories that I have of these dolls were the ones that came with the whole High School what a fun and cute Play Set
This was they had a mall set a mini car set that held their clothes and accessories and a scooter set Bratz is just one of the best 2000 stall lines hands down and I could honestly go on forever about them there’s so much more to dive into with them the computer
Games the movies the phone but we have to move on because we are still talking about more of the well-known 2000 stalls when we have many more that I can guarantee have been wiped away from your memory that being said I’d like to bring up another doll line that Mattel did
Release in 1999 Mary Kate and Ashley dolls I can’t be the only one who remembers these first of all Mary Kate and Ashley Olen were ’90s and 2000s icons if anyone out there is a little bit too young to know who they were no they’re not just Elizabeth Olsen’s older
Sisters he played Michelle Tanner in the hit sitcom show Full House they also had their own series of movies books shows and even their own clothing line and there were a few different doll lines that were released for these girls some of the Dolls were characters based on
Their movies While others were just the girls in fun little fashion packs and Mary Kate and Ashley always had this kind of opposite aesthetic going which was so much fun for the dolls one that I had growing up was this cute little Locker Set from their TV show so little
Time they were just so cute and now they’re just a piece of 2000s doll history so moving on to another forgotten doll line that is genuinely near and dear to my heart Diva Stars I Loved These bigheaded Queens Diva stars were released in the year 2000 by Mattel
In a response to the Virtual Pet Craze like Furby or tomagotchi the first original four girls were Alexa Nikki summer and tia they had really large heads and feet and you could press them and the girls would talk to you they also had these pieces of clothing that
You would snap on and they would like know which clothing pieces you’d put on them and they’d interact with you they would also talk with each other it’s just such a cool and unique concept if you’re not familiar with the dolls you may actually remember the computer games
At least I feel like this game specifically is locked away in the back of every 2000’s kid subconscious now the ones that I actually had were the fashion dolls they were released after the success of The Originals they kicked summer out of the core four and they
Replaced her with Miranda summer was so cute but I actually really did love Miranda as a kid and now the dolls were more like other fashion dolls that were out there on the market could press down on their heads and they would still have a few different things to say I pressed
On their heads so much that I can still hear their voices in the back of my mind especially Miranda saying supernova which like is that a thing was that like a 2000’s thing to say if it was can we bring it back it’s so adorable Supernova anyways these dolls were just
So goofy looking and awesome and campy and I would love for them to make a comeback and they most likely will not RP my large-headed Queens another 2000s doll line that not too many people remember like it was kind of Niche even for the time which is
Weird where thae girls thae girls were manufactured by Tai ink in 2007 who’s best known for making their iconic beanie babies or what are now Beanie Boos High girls popped up during the Webkins virtual world craze and it essentially became the same exact concept but it was using plush dolls the
Plush dolls would come with a tag that held a secret code you could use to unlock their vers ual world when the dolls are being talked about today they’re usually just referred to as Webkins knockoffs they were more than that to me I remember that I had a
Friend actually show me the website first before I was able to get my hands on one of them she pulled up some images of what the girls looked like and I could go through all of them and I really liked that they all really had their own distinct color scheme and
Personality kind of like the OG concept of rainbow high at least with the original six I remember really wanting the blue one specifically specifically she got retired super early and that just made her automatically more exclusive and cool do you remember how cool it was to have one of the retired
Webkins those were the days life was simple the line started off with a few of the more basic ones like lovely Lola sassy star rock and Ruby Punky Penny Sizzle and Sue and dazzlin Destiny and she was my first one once you logged your doll online you are met with a
Really fun pink world that actually blasted Girls Just Want to Have Fun by Cindy loer which I think later they got rid of probably for copyright reasons I think at one point they ended up using a new intro with wake up by Hillary duve but on this website you could play mini
Games you could dress up the girls you could take them out to eat and you can decorate their house there were also a bunch of random mini games that I believe you would use to make money in the game kind of like Webkins this website truthfully was my girlsg Go
Games before girlsg go games they had some more normal games on the website that were featuring their characters then at other times they had some more odd choices like pimple popping or swatting mosquitoes which really confused me as a kid but a lot of my friends thought they were super
Satisfying I feel like the game did get a little bit boring after a while like it didn’t fully feel like there was as much to do in it like other Virtual Worlds like Webkins and Club Penguin or even Toontown it’s possibly part of the reason why it died off but there were
Actually a couple other reasons the doll line itself was lacking in diversity and they were also met with a lot of negative feedback after they released two doll characters named after the Obama daughters according to the Tai Wikipedia page Michelle Obama’s press secretary said that Tai did not ask
Permission to use the Obama daughters first names this controversy was ultimately the downfall of the brand the dolls were officially retired and the website was shut down in 2013 if you’d like more of a deeper Deep dive into the world of TI girls definitely let me know
In the comments cuz that would be something I’d love to do for you speaking of collectible plush dolls does anyone remember Groovy Girls how I miss Groovy Girls were ever on a family Road trip maybe going on a little vacation somewhere and you stumbled upon a store maybe in one of the souvenir
Shops chances are you may have seen these dolls Groovy Girls were made by Manhattan toy and were released in 1998 they were meant to be as their wiki page describes it a funky alternative to Barbie you could find them in Target around 2005 they were mainly found in
Specialty stores their bodies were made of plush and their hair was made of yarn they originally released with four s in 1998 but then they grew exponentially over the next few years I definitely had Groovy Girls like Brena and Angelique also I think that their little cartoon characters were so cute apparently there
Was a Groovy Girls website that I was unaware of which honestly surprises me because when I was a kid I used to just type in random toys or games and like see if I could find a website for it I’m really surprised that I never stumbled upon that one I would have probably
Loved it maybe I need to do a deep dive on the lore of Groovy Girls as well okay no one remembers this one popscotch Hill School dolls their dolls were actually released by American Girl in 2003 were targeted for a younger audience kind of like how the bitty
Babies were these dolls were like the Welly wishers of today there were four dolls total there was Logan Skyler and hie that released in 2003 and then Gwen released later in 2004 my best friend who lived down the street for me actually owned a Logan doll I was so
Jealous cuz she owned Logan I couldn’t just have Logan so then my favorite became Skyler and I wanted Skyler more than anything I know a lot of people think that these dolls are actually really creepy but I don’t know I still think they’re pretty cute except for hie
I don’t know what that stance is I can see her as my sleep paralysis demon there sadly isn’t a ton of information on these dolls most of the info that I could find was from the American Girl wiki and some of the personalities that I saw for the girls were just kind of
Funny to me like Logan’s is pretty normal it’s just Logan likes the outdoors she especially likes to collect things in nature and share them in school it’s really sweet Logan then Skylar’s is Skylar’s described as an energetic kid who has a hard time staying in her seat like that’s her
Whole personality she just can’t sit still totally understand then poor hie and Gwen have nothing no personality they’re just total Duds I’m sure if they were to give Gwen a personality it would have just been Sports and hi’s would be bullying you at recess and why does hi’s
Doll look nothing like the art on the book sorry clearly I’m a hle hater please let me know if you remember these dolls at all because I swear they have basically been wiped from existence does anyone remember Disney Pop dreamers from 2002 Mattel released this singing line of dolls that
Represented three Disney Princesses there was Ella who was supposed to represent Cinderella Arie I assume it’s pronounced Ary was supposed to be like Ariel and Gabrielle who was supposed to be like Belle but I always thought that was a really odd choice in the name the dolls would sing together and they came
With the CD sometimes these songs to this day still get in my head Me I’m not the only one who remembers this I never got to have one of these dolls but my best friend who lived down the street showed me the CD and we would spend hours in her house playing it on her boom box and making up dances to it
Some of the songs would be from the Disney Princess movies and each girl would get her own theme song others were just random song covers Like We Got the Beat by the Goos or Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the waves fantastic song Choices I am still obsessed please bring them
Back the 2000s had some other goofy doll lines that didn’t last very long but they definitely made their Mark what’s her face was released in 2001 by Mattel concept was that your what’s her face doll would come with a totally blank face that you could design she came with
Washable colored markers and little rubber stamps for her eyes and her mouth the concept itself was super cute but I remember when I had one of these dolls I would try drawing the face on her and would immediately hate it and then genuinely get stressed out by it which
Is funny because I’m actually an artist and you would think that I could have made something really cute or creative or cool and yet I was just sitting there so stressed that I couldn’t make her look good the original line consisted of four dolls named Glam hip sweet and cool
They expanded with their line head to toe in 2002 and then another wave was released in 2003 called what’s her look apparently the line was canceled in the US after the third wave a fourth and final line for the dolls was marketed in Europe and South America notably named
Fab faces does that sound familiar to you overall this is an iconic 2000s doll line that has been lost to time did you own one of these dolls and did they creep you out with their Blank Stare I know curly cues have just been wiped from your brain no one remembers
These I swear to God I’m the only one curly cues were released in 2001 by a company called playalong I really had a hard time finding any information on these dolls this was an instance of remembering playing with one of these dolls and then just having to look it up online and typing
In anything I could to find them basically there were three plush dolls with bendable wire hair that you could curl and add little hair clips to I remember I had Cindy q and I actually learned how to braid hair with her hair and still not very good there was also
Stacy q and Christy Q I’m not fully sure what the other lines looked like if there were more of them but I did find one that had purple hair like I said I definitely had a hard time finding anything thing but let me know in the comments if you remember
Them and there you have it these are all of the Forgotten 2000s dolls that I have to talk about today but let me tell you I have so many more on my list and it was honestly so hard to choose which ones to talk about for this video so if
You’re interested in discovering more please let me know in the comments I’d be more than willing to do more of these videos I am a lover of 2000’s Nostalgia and I just want to keep sparking that nostalgic joy for you all this is my my very first video so if you like more
