Having had The Skate Sanctuary officially open for a month now, we’ve trialled lots of classes and decided to make the following changes. We would love to offer even more sessions, however our team is still very small. Thank you for your patience. We want to ensure we can deliver the exceptional standard of service (and humour) across all classes. You can support the growth of our team by buying from our shop, attending our sessions and telling other people to do the same (by leaving reviews!)

Our EVENING PRACTISE SESSION @The Skate Sanctuary is an adult zone from 6.30-8.30pm.
Work on whatever you are working on, chat with other skaters, try wheels from our wheel library and take a look at what we’ve got coming up.

Weekday Drop-In 12 – 2pm @The Skate Sanctuary £3 entry + £2 skate hire
Between 2-6pm on weekdays it’s just £3 per hour, unless we have a private session booked.

Our adult Discover Roller Dance class @The Skate Sanctuary (6.30 – 8pm) is the perfect introduction for aspiring roller dancers. This is the session for ‘non-dance and non-skate specialists’ . In fact, you don’t even need to wear skates in this class!
Come and learn solid foundations for your roller dance journey.

Our evening session – Roller Dance Focus & Flow @The Skate Sanctuary – is all about learning those foundation moves that will accelerate your journey in roller dance and how to use them in a little flow sequence. Once you learn how to actively spot related movements, you’ll feel more confident about joining in with roller dance as well as creating your own flow.

Our longest running event is Friday Night Social @The Ramgarhia Sports Hall. Our first ever social skate was in 2018 and we’ve run them regularly ever since! We want to keep FNS a weekly roller disco – there when you are ready for it. Please support us by telling your friends and sharing when you can.
FNS is supported and run by our fabulous volunteer marshall team – if you have any questions or feedback please let them know.
