“Pedestrian at Best” is Ryan Lowers first video part. The London based skater has been blading for about 13 years and started roller skating in 2021. Ryan says he’s much more confident in a skatepark, but went out of his comfort zone to film a street part in the city of London.
“The process of filming was pretty rewarding, lots of exploring the city with friends in the summer and approaching spots like puzzles that needs to be solved”, Ryan said. The video recently premiered with the London crew as part of video challenge organized by RampStamp. You can now find it on the DogDays YouTube channel.
Ryan: “I decided to call it Pedestrian at Best because after a lot of the filming sessions I’d rewatch the footage and find little details here and there that could have been improved on or done differently, but once it was all stitched together as a complete body of work, I felt like it had all come together better than I could have imagined and was an accurate reflection of how I like to skate, so the title is just a little self-deprecating joke with myself.”
