There a better one to start out on or is it just kind of like pick your skate and then you’ll learn the skills so I’m more told the uh the regular skates are easier to learn on compared to the blades But ultimately it comes down to what you feel comfortable on right got

Week and they usually do meets on Sundays and they’re no joking around I mean they have a hilarious sense of humor with like their tough guy names and everything but they’re really tough chicks listen if I was gonna get in a bar fight I would choose them as my
Partners of course so what is that energy like when this is all filled and the ruler Derby’s going on roller derby um well when they’re usually more practicing here often so that energy is more about them just perfecting what it is but for the meats it’s it’s great you
Know they bring in their fan base and they really get into it it’s quite a thing to watch and speaking of getting into it the kids have such a ball too I mean this is a dream for all kinds of Ages and you know it’s it can be a
Little intimidating getting on Wheels but also it’s exciting it’s exhilarating you never really know what’s gonna happen so what what is it like when the kids kind of come down kids are the most fun of this I have two little ones I love watching them come out here and uh
You know it’s great watching the kids learn and progress right they progress so much faster than us adults do there’s no fear right because they’re just like of course I’m gonna do great and then it’s like whatever happens happens right their tailbone recovers a lot
Do you want to know this is not roller skating related at all but I accidentally broke someone’s tailbone I know okay so we were in the hall and we were playing this game where we were like sliding on textbooks so I threw the textbook in this kid who was not part of
The game slid well that’s his fault he was in the wrong place Jay you’re my kind of people it’s fine Grace and Simon I’m so sorry I’m sure your tailbone is fine now all right so if folks want to come down and visit you kind of what are
Your hours and when is the best time for them to check you out so if you are an adult who wants to learn um Monday nights are the best uh it’s adult skate night but they also do shared skate skills where the really good skaters come out and teach people
How to skate and also you know some actually teach you how to dance what what kind of moves have you seen out here I’ve seen full spin full spinning full spinning uh the one that I always like watching the most is uh the guys who are on blades they go on only one
