Students in North Canton elementary school are being rewarded for their good behavior and as you’ll see them I never stop learning it’s a field trip that has them really on a roll there we go there we go that’s how you learn that’s how I sorted cafeteria manager Sheila watts
Can teach the kids to skate and cook their lunch she’s one of the North Canton staff members helping the students get around the rink every nine weeks the school rewards students for good behavior which includes being prepared for class and doing their homework there are a couple of spills
But they’re all okay for many of these students this is the first time they’ve ever put on a pair of skates hang on buddy whoo they say it’s important to always try new things but no matter how long how many times you fall just get up and keep trying
I volunteered for this just because I enjoy skating but I wanted to help them also because I know how important that is when I was young somebody help me oh don’t worry she eventually let go and did just fine the field trip at the Smoky Mountain Skateway in Waynesville
Was funded by the North Canton pto and I love seeing the other kids oh he’ll see other kids up but nobody was hurt and the kids you know when they would fall I would you know don’t give him a thumbs up and they’d start laughing and give a
Thumbs up and they’re having fun and I remember those days of learning the skate and falling and falling again I was one of those that held onto the rail like that little girl
