Huh ma’am how are you from all right hold on i wanna stop coming what’s up guys welcome back to my channel you guys i am so excited as you see from the title you guys i am i’m so excited i don’t even know what to say i received today my skates
You all i haven’t skated in over two decades in some years i am 35 now i haven’t skated probably since i was about 15 16. if that 17 probably the latest probably probably was like 16. um it hadn’t been like when i was in high school i got out of high school
When i was 18. i graduated when i was 18. but i’m 35 now and yeah it’s almost been two decades i’ll say i’m about 15. so i used to always rollerblade or had like you know the kids skates um you know that you can adjust which i think they still sell those now
But you can adjust um you know for your size of your of your foot i had i think i had those and i also had roller blades i used to roll blade like down the road from my house i just like to escape and i don’t know what made me get skates back
Then i was younger until you know i started going to the skating rink um when i got in high school as a kid too but anyway that actually that ring actually closed down i don’t know why but it closed down like years ago years ago years ago
So i have not been to a skating rink since then and i have not bought any skates so i don’t know what maybe just i think i’ve seen something on tick tock and of course during the quarantine of last year and now like people have been buying skates skating finding a hobby because
We’ve been home doing nothing besides eating and working as well if you work from home but you know just being home having a hobby to get into people have been you know branching out skating i didn’t know that and i just recently seen it on tick tock and i was like oh
Man you know i’ve seen things on instagram kind of and when i see them skating or people just dancing skating i was like man i remember when i used to like to skate and things like that but when i started seeing more of it i said let me look into it
And i started looking into it and i started you know doing my research on all the skates and all the time all this kind of stuff that good skates you know for beginners anyway because i’m like a beginner again it’s been years so it’s like my first time reading
I’m you know i’m relearning how to skate again and i’m not saying i was a pro but then either but you know you know i was skating i’m adult now and my bones a little fragile and things like that so you know i had to have more precaution but anyway
I um i started looking into it i started watching people you know watching people have that you know how they started back after years or just beginning learning how to you know roller skate again so i did my research on what skates to get i joined facebook groups to get into
Um you know it just once i started looking and looking more into it i was like man i want me some skates man i want lisa’s gates i’m gonna give me some skates so i’m finally ordering some skates you guys and they just came today and i’m so excited
I actually um had already ordered um my gear and all that kind of all the other kind of stuff my safety here my helmet you know and my pads and everything which i’m about to show you guys i haven’t even opened the box yet of this case i wanted to grab my camera
And show you guys what i got and i’m also going to show you the first time getting back on these skates getting back on skates period and i’m going to show you guys in this video as well but i’m about to unbox my skates and show y’all what i got and uh
Yeah i’m just so excited so you guys i’m about to unbox my skates and i’m so excited to use now um i did order my skates from amazon So and i will put of course the link to escape down in the description box so you guys can go and order you repair if you thinking about getting to skating or you know just i’ve heard i say first do your research so that you can see what’s best for you
But after you do your research and you decide to get something like these click on the link and get you up here okay i have my my receipt okay so i need to take them back and here we go Omg you guys oh it feels so good it’s this wave feel have long shoe string which i’m going to change i’m going to change up my shoes frame anyway um i made i wanted to do like a yellow and i wanted to also put um
A toe cover over here over this so that when like i’m stopping or if i’m following anything i don’t want to scuff up the toe part but um these are the skates these are called sure grip um sheer grip border wall blue motion these are the name of these particular
Skates and you guys this is the size eight in women i wear eight and from the char that i see you can get the same size of your regular shoe size and i just want to show you guys these are sugar grips these are the sheer grips it’s official
Oh my goodness i can’t believe it you guys i actually have these in my hand As i’ve been researching it waiting and i ordered these i think on may 8th and today is may 13th so it did not take long at all to come and it did say between may 18th and may 20th and it came on time so yes i am excited
Hold on yeah these actually are men seven women eight so it has a seven in here because they are i guess the men’s if i’m not mistaken but if a woman wants to wear is the size eight for a woman i had to check that real quick
Because i was like hold up they gave me wrong size but yeah um it has like a thick tone on it i don’t like that part right there but it’s okay um a thick tongue they’re actually thick and i think as i begin to start skating i will break this in um yeah
I don’t know a lot about the truck i think these are the trucks but maybe another video i will show you guys what is all the parts on this skate i just want to get them in my hands and explain all of that but i do know this is the toe stop and
Um a lot of people have said something about these toe stops but you guys i’m going to order me more more anyway i actually want the moxie um toast stop or whatever they’re like flowers or just a better kind but i hear a lot of people say these leaf sculpts
So i will notice i give it a try and i say like the sound of it or whatever but that didn’t stop me for getting them um and they said to check to see if they spin okay and these are actually outdoor skates so i may have to loosen that some but um
I’m gonna get my husband to help me with all of that as you see the wheels sure grip motion and little box i guess just some goodies warranty papers um yeah i guess like a little website just maybe who the company i got for from i’m not even sure you guys i’m just
So excited i’ve seen like i said i’ve seen reviews on these on the sugar boardwalk and i just had to get it and i have to show you guys my gear that i did get as well sitting there like that i also want to show the tongue of it that it does say
Boardwalk sure grip um and it has like roller skates and california or whatever but this is a closer look at my skates i’m so excited you guys but i just ring it up like i said and um get the wheels good and test it so now i’m going to show you all
What i got in my ear first i’m going to show you my socks i bought me i got these socks as well i put amazon i got everything i got here off of amazon so you guys can go over and click on the link down below of all these products that
I did get it down in the description these are my socks that i decided to get isn’t they cute aren’t they cute it has um all the different color scapes and i wanted to get something kind of long to come up on my leg as far as like
Especially when my ankle would be with these um i want to wear some thick socks because i’m just starting back out and i know i have to break them in but i just thought that these were so cute yes okay those are my socks all right so let me
Show you um well let me show you this as well this is i’m just a tool for when i want to loosen up the um see that’s why i say i don’t really know the names i forgot but to loosen up these screws that’s on escape to get it you know
Turning because right now it’s kind of not moving as much freely So i’ve heard from so many people to always when you the before you start skating to always shake your wheels always bring this with you a tool with you in case that you need to loosen them up or tighten them up so i did learn that and i got
This like i said on amazon and this is the tool um you know and like i said i’m going to of course do another video to explain all of this to you guys once i learned the names the correct term and everything and um show you guys
What it is what it do and it comes with a little bit like i said that you can put inside and take with you with a dry screen so i had ordered that and um my husband told me he said a long time ago he still
Do a lot of this stuff skateboarding or just fixing them and things like that people escaped and he was young like teenage years so he’s gonna help me with that so i actually ordered the triple eight gear i have the knee pads elbow pads and the wrist
I had to get this you guys because like i said it’s been so long since i’ve skated and i’m not trying to hurt myself so i ordered this and i’m going to go ahead and open it i got a small according to the sizes um so i haven’t tried it on yet or
Anything and i got this color i think this is sunset this is the color of sunset um i wanted kind of the blue to kind of match blend in in the black to blend in with my skates so i have that and i also purchased a helmet by
Triple eight as well and this is also in the color sunset so i match both of that i had to get a large extra large because of my hair i do have drill outs and my hair is thick so i had to get something that would fit over my head this is the
Certified sweat saber multi sport helmet by triple a i’ve seen a lot of reviews on that as well and i’m going to open that take it out see how it looks all right okay it comes with a sticker i always like to get stickers um yeah i guess it gives like the warranty
And everything about the helmet and yeah these are the scraps that go upon it or is it like extra scraps maybe extra i’m not sure but this is how it looks inside And oh it’s oh i like how it feels this is it in the front it’s like an orange a pink and it fades to blue so i think like i said this is called the sunset color i got it in the sunset and it matches my gear my protective gear triple h
So yeah got to have this for this head of mine because i’m pretty sure i will be falling pretty sure of that so you guys i just unboxed my skates and my helmet all my protective gear i’m about to um loosen up the wheels and do whatever else i need to do
Try them on well you guys want to see me the first time putting them on so yeah i’m about to do all that and then the next clip you’re going to see is me outside probably falling but me outside skating so stay tuned i’m nervous y’all you got elbow passer elbow pads

Um documenting and showing you guys me learning relearning how to skate all over again and taking y’all along with me i do plan to skate um try to get it in by every day try to so i can get a good swing of it or whatever but um
