Prospect Josh pillar who had a lot of Promise is no longer part of the Leafs family he opted to head to the University of Saskatchewan for the 2023-24 season the kid is only 21 and did well with the Saskatoon blades but let’s be honest he didn’t quite make a big splash
Maybe it’s better for the Leafs to focus on other young talents who are on fire in the trade we brought in O’Reilly and he’s already gone Noel achiari another one saying goodbye and pillar who’s also left us now we gave up some lower round draft picks and honestly after not making a deep
Playoff run and not holding on to any of our future stars it was a bit of a letdown but let’s not dwell on it folks beliefs made some exciting free agent signings this summer and with pillar heading out it’s not a huge loss however if this kid keeps developing we
