Wild card spot but there were six teams that could have jumped us at any time and in those final games with our lives on the line we come out with a shootout Victory and an OT victory while these usually would be very exciting moments for Rusty it wasn’t so exciting we
Played some of the worst hockey that I have ever seen we missed four breakaways in one game in the OT versus the Hurricanes last game of the season Breakaway off the pipe out okay nice little bump yep give me that Rusty the game on a
Stick but the good news is this is a team built for the playoffs when Rusty can’t perform the rest of the team step Ste up and got the job done severon [Applause] severon the Blue Jackets have done it so today we’ll find out once and for all
Who were taking on in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs let’s get into it we will hit this button find out our first matchup in three two 1 the Columbus Blue Jackets are taking on the Detroit Red Wings this is going to be an absolute battle we have the stadium
Series coming up next year Blue Jackets for Detroit so this one here is a big test taking a look at our standings here I don’t even know if I actually played a game versus Detroit this season they are sitting with 94 points here fourth place in the East which means yeah they

Game here we go Rusty walking down the locker room a little away game to start obviously we’re taking on the best team in the Atlantic the Detroit Red Wings we know what’s on the line today we know what we have to do we are going to shoot
The puck and find the back of the net at least twice I scoring three goals this game no matter what after last episode it can’t get any worse it’s it’s an electric atmosphere the glow sticks barely being spun I mean this crowd is dead let’s go boys we are

On the line so there you have it we are down 02 heading back to Columbus but we know how quickly these series can shift we win one game we win the next boom we’re tied at two now conveniently enough looking at the scores from around the league every other team either has
